@Bonscott I have had no issues with SC3000 over the years, have had it installed on XP, Vista 64 and have had it on win764 since release. I have the unlimited version, i wonder if it has some patch included that affected compatibility. Shame you have issues with it man, i still fire it up every months and lose myself in the city for a week or so!!

I hate client based gaming, but i like your post Brad. I understand alot more now what your trying to do and why, i just wish doing so wouldn't force me to install a client. I still won't play rebellion through steam, but i can live with why you are doing it. :)

Your issues Fistalis, is why i don't like gaming clients in any form. I do see the advantages, but they are far outweighed by the possibility, as in Fistalis case, of losing access to "your" games. Like you say, better in MP, but with mods it can be quite good, if you don't abuse them. (which i do sometimes). The DLC's brought alot to the single player experience i thought.

Tell someone that if they go into a shop and ask them anything about drivers and have them look at, know that when you walk away, they will be laughing at you.
