+2karma for you boobz, cause...well damn, i just like the way you talk!! Wouldn't it be something for the Zealots of joeuser to try and tell one of the greatest minds in history, that his difficulties in life are by God's will. Hawking would get banned almost instantly for killing joeuser members with awesomeness!! (and i'd pay to see that show!)
But seriously, what class aspect didn't you like?
The use of them at all! It took the focus away from what, for me at least Simcity was always about, city building. I didn't want or need to have to play a social structure sim. I want to build, not manage social inequalities. Maybe it's just me, but that's what i hated about it. Cities XL follows the same path, which is why i still have 3000 Unlimited instal
Can Metro be nerfed in such a way that all you have on it is the Desktop tile, yet still use and retain all windows functionality from the Desktop? (that includes bringing back things like, taskbar, notification area and start menu.) If the above can indeed be done, then i guess it wouldn't be so bad. There a few features in there that look quite handy. The new file copy dialogue and the ability to mount from explorer will be highlights i'm sure. I "could" live

This doesn't surprise me. I have hated everything about Win8 that i have read and seen. They have just got Win7 working fine, why screw around with a new direction that, to me, always looked liked it was going to be a PITA to navigate around. But, that being said, iv'e no intention of ever using it. I'm more than happy with Win7 and will stay with it till after WIn9 is released, at the minimum...
Simcity 4 sucked, and so does Cities..IMHO anyway. I hate the class aspect, and i hope 5 does away with it, i still play simcity 3000!
I don't knwo about being an arse, but he gave all but one a good look at his as he blew by!
By the looks of it, they made plenty of parts from scratch! I'm sure they must have had their hands on aoriginal to get measurements, or plans or something! What a mammoth undertaking! In either case, this indeed would not have been cheap!
A very quick and easy way to do this yourself would be as follows. Two things to note, First, if your using the Ultimate Edition from Steam, i'm not exactly sure of the instal paths, since i have the game from release, so its perhaps different. I'll post my install path and if it's different i'm sure it would give you an idea at least where to go. Second, when you find this file, back it up and keep it safe if you ever want to play on the Metaverse, or s

Captain, i'm not sure i'm even getting your point. Are you saying that this "reverend" is meant to be one if us (an atheist) and as such your throwing his beliefs in our face and challenging us with it? Seriously, if my above summation of your point is wrong, then please explain it to me, because it all sounds very schoolyard to me. Why people seek out this need to belong to any one group baffles me. So, this "reverend" is part of a church of atheism? Good luck t

Thanks Mina!!! I'll let support handle it for now, but if they keep dropping the ball i'll do this! [e digicons]k2[/e] As for getting the ball rolling, i was daydreaming the other day and thought it might be interesting to see if we can get one character from every active MV player into one empire. We could create a new empire just for these active characters, i don't think all of us, and by that i mean all the active peeps from Sororitas/Kzin/Tyranny...etc, etc
Just on the desktop/laptop debate, i got 7.9 WEI across the board on my new PC for under $1300. Not that i put a great deal of stock in WEI since it can be hacked to show 9.0 if you like....
Your question is pretty well covered here by GW and marvin, but i'll throw my two cents in... The optimum setup for trade routes would be the greatest distance you can manage, and with econ starbases along the route, obviously built out with all the trade modules. If your building your population correctly, meaning that each planet has minimum 13B pop, than population will not be so much a factor, i wouldn't compromise route length with a closer and higher pop planet. <br /

Might want to edit your post there, you have the last part of the sentence formatted as a spoiler or with black text. ;) Short answer, Yes. You can jump into a new game and play, with all features of the game. The campaigns i guess serve as a tutorial, though i don't care for them. Skirmish games FTW in my opinion...
