Well obviously everyone here is a windows user...... and I'm probably the only one who has this opinions, but hey, whatever, I think that there should be a website for skins for linux based window managers. Lord knows skins are a million times easier to make on linux, and well..... linux is FREE, so no paying 50 bucks for object desktop... anyway, comments on a lincustomize.com? suggestions? Linux bashing? WINDOWS bashing? whatever, just speak people!

If you've got the money and you've got a lot of intensive graphics shiznit to get done, there's absolutely nothing better than a silicon graphics box. But of course, its pricy. Viable alternatives also include building your own PC..... which is not only a good learning experience, but it general its cheaper and better, and you don't have to pay for expensive software stuff. ~Capn
I should probably also add to my other post that since gimp is open source it is not commercially supported, and can do funny things. Several people i know have not been able to get it to work on windows xp, however it works fine for me, but hey, thats microsoft for you..... costs a lot and doesn't work. Or instead of pirating copyrighted software from kazaa as so many munchkins do today, i suggest you explore LEGAL and open source alternatives. For instance: there is a program called "the gimp" which is VERY similar to photoshop. The interface will take a little time to get used to, however gimp is free and legal, and yada yada yada. I HIGHLY suggest Gimp, go here and download it http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/ and do not be fooled by the horrible graphics on this webpage..... gimp
