So...Linux is bitching about what is essentially MS following in Apple's footsteps..... ....locking people's computers to specific hardware? WOW....who'd a thunk it?....
Not true anymore. Apple mac books allow for dual boot and have an easy setup to handle it now. So this is something totally unique. Before if you were running the old macs where the chip set was not intel or a

This is an interesting concept but I think you are overlooking one thing, especially in the gaming market. Onlive service and services like them will be more likely scenario for gaming and streaming, removing game consoles from the equation and only requiring an app to run. this scenario ignores the unwired world but it certainly a good idea for publishers. You cannot steal a game that you don't have a copy of. I doubt they will allow your account to you more tha
HenriHaki, so you want to have spell tags AND unique spell counter information in the XML, in order to simplify it from having only unique spell counter information? I'm with Heavenfall on this. Doing it by tags makes it a lot harder to make AI do the right choices. You need to balance the tags perfectly for it to know which spell is the best counter. There's also a big risk that the AI would cast a spell that is i

to the AI comment by XIA: I disagree, I think this is a good way to start. If the AI knows that it has a counter it should use it, sort of reminds me of yugio when I was reading it and it sounded fun. The battle system has never been very good in elemental it was more about overwelhm the enemy with numbers or if you had a spell caster just bomb away on them before they reach you - fun but not truly tacticle. The spell types and such in

Heroes are much better balanced then they used to be. In the early versions of EWOM you could get a team of heroes in the best armor and a war hammer and they would put the work in on most enemy forces. Nowadays you have to have a good team of troops with them. At the current moment I think the balance is just about what it should be.
Quoting Itharus, reply 17Titans? I'm assuming honestly that they are just the offensive version of a Star-Base. I don't think they're gonna be much - if at all - more powerful than a fully upgraded Star-Base. If a Star-Base is a nut, a Titan will probably just be the nutcracker. *laughs hysterically*
LMAO or not!!!

Your key point is right here: 6. Sins is too slow in multiplayer. If multiplayer continues to move at a glacial pace, less reason to buy a legitimate copy of the game For all of us who love the work that these guys do and have supported this game since it's early betas many years ago, do us a favor and either buy the game or stop playing it. If you do continue to play it, then by all means then send in your questions and comments to the devs- they do l

We've gone through a lot of back and forth with the pirates. I think they should not totally nerf them - I think they are a good addition and make the early game crazy. Sure you can sometimes get steam rolled because the pirates and the enemy are pounding yding you - but its fun once you defend and build to the point that you can go in and clear the pirate bases ( i love that part of the game)
