Check out acronis disk director, I wouldn't use anything Symantec, even if it was someone elses pc and the software was given to me for free. yes, acronis is good, too. i have an older version of partition magic, which i use because it was before the symantec buyout. either will work, but Acronis is better, so I'd use it if my Partition Magic died on me. <img src="

Sata Drives do not have jumpers, they operate on a single channel. (good try, though) you probably have a formatting problem. are you using these drives as the main drives in your system, or for storage? also, if each drive is picked up by windows, id recommend using a different formating software, like Partition Magic from Symantec(shudders) if you must use windows, then delete the partition on the drive, and try to reformat it. Good Luck! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smile
ah well, time to go back to DOS, hey does anyone know if i can skin that? maybe some colored text? maybe i could just not plug my video cable in all the way so everything is blue?
18 here, but a long time skin lover
i started using Beelzebub (by Boxxi) in WB about 8 months ago, and i still use it. I do download a lotta skins, but i rarely use them, although vStyler's SG-1 came close to knocking Beelzebub off my XP Pro install. I think it's just a personalization thing. some of us love it, some don't. whatever works for you is great! oh my goodness...I'm a freak!
how'd that phrase go? I Chews You, Pikachu! Actually, the lil yellow guy was kinda cool. he could shoot lightning! now that's awesome to see! a little furry thing zapping the heck outta stuff...
How often do you change skins? i started using Beelzebub (by Boxxi) in WB about 8 months ago, and i still use it. i thought pokemon were the other white meat?
that vid was pretty cool
there seem to be three main sides to the whole thing. those who love iAnything, those who hate iAnything, and those smart folk who use what actually works. i have a Zune, thank you, and i still use iTunes for my music. does that make me a bad person? iDon't care either, for the record
I don’t know how you’re going to judge this Po’......but if you were to look at one from an ‘encouragement’ point of view, I would like to nominate a young member BlackDragon17. WWW Link (not sure if it's OK to put link...if not, please remove)... I really enjoy his work and would love to see more and think a membership would be good recognition and encouragement. ....Just a thought........... Matrix R also very deserving here as well….as I’m sure there are ma
I'd check out Linsys, and deffinitely any card of repute with Wireless N. Wireless N standards were just agreed on and will become the standard soon. I replaced my wireless NIC and router with an N version and watched my intranet (not internet) connection speed jump from 54Mbps to 270. Makes a world of difference in network server functions and print functions. N is awesome, but if you're looking into a cheaper setup, then G is the best option. you will
wow... a lot of people use a lot of good stuff... oh well, i use the following on my "main PC" Antivirus-Avast! Pro 4.7 (Cheap enough, and i like the extras) Firewall-Windows, ProtectX, ZoneAlarm, and McAfee AntiSpyware-Spybot, Spysweeper, Ad-Aware, XPTools, ZeroSpyware yes, i am what one would consider paranoid, but i log in remotely over the net into work, and that means a bunch of open ports, plus when i get on games, that's more ports, and when i FTP for synchro
Gigabyte Makes A Wonderful Wireless USB stick, with 360 degree rotation, and it usually retails for around 30-35 bucks. 802.11g standard, but will work with b. (not a gigabyte employee, just a customer who bought 3 of them for his little home network)
I DO NEED THE SUB! gah! he made me an awesome icon! must...convince...Po...to...give...Bandit...Subscription... hey Po, I'll make you some cooooookiessss...
I also don't need the subscrition, but wanted to say that it's cool for you to offer it up for anyone worthy. And congrats on the win, too.
Otherwise, one of my favorite DM song would be "Hammer smashed face" from Cannibal, even though I prefer George Fisher as singer. what about you? My tops would have to be Cast Down the Heretic from Nile, I also liked Sanded Faceless from Cannibal, polyps from Cattle Decapitation, and Strangled With A Halo from Pig Destroyer. on other fronts, i get into some lighter stuff, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, rise Against, Seether, and Slipknot. <
Zubaz has a good point though why develop a program based on the beta version of Vista when Microsoft will probably change something. exactly! depending on the hardware, Creative now has a relatively good set of Vista x86 and x64 drivers. I just installed My X-Fi Fatality card, on a Vista Business install, and it's fine. Microsoft did change from RC2 ro the full version, which made RC2 drivers useless to most people. Microsoft probably didn't even bothe
wow... i guess i'd have to agree with the "damned if you do, damned if you don't", but i thought of the best Bootskin idea! It can look like the standard XP, but change it to be Skindows WC or Skindows SD! that'd be cool as all get out! *rushes off to find out how to make bootskins* oh, it's easy! looks like i have a small project tonite!
sweet! maybe my love for pig destroyer and Cattle Decapitation Made me bright? awesmoness! nothing makes me feel smarter than jamming to some Humanure! btw, what's your favorite nile song?
So your saying that companies like Creative not being ready is Microsofts fault? Creative didn't even try to be ready, they ignored the OS entirely wile it was in its beta stage, then went crazy once it was released to come up with something. uhhh.... yea? are you aware that Hardware companies like Creative, NVIDIA, ATI, and all the others use a partnership with Microsoft to move products? Without Those Drivers ready to go, Microsoft should hav
geez that was long
mySpace *is* a bug time for me to be the first to defend MySpace to be fair, MySpace has it's good and bad qualities. I can keep tabs on friends that are states away from me, and i do enjoy being able to blog about everything going on for me, and i like to mention WinCustomize on my page. I'm not saying it's perfect, but for the most part, i can keep the negatives under control. these are the main problems with MySpace 1.Spyware<br/
I can't answer your first question becaus I have yet to finish a WB skin (after 7 years of works-in-progress) 7...years...that skin is gonna be awesome... thanks for the info, guys!
