Non responsive on game start up in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

When I start the game icomes to the main menu and when I click on any thing it stops responding (I have left it for 30 minutes) or the computer restarts on it own with no warning. Any ideas why???? Change Motherboards and video in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I recently changed my motherboard and video card. Now the game will become non-responsive or it will crash and restart the computer. The game ran fine before the changes and I have tried to ininstall and reinstall the game, but it did not help. When I initailly click on the icon to start the game, I get a message box stating "cannot be found". I cclick OK and the game will start. I have attached my err log. Another game crash Please Help!!! in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

The game just crashed and sent me back to windows, except that windows was hung up. waited 15 minutes to see if the system would ever get responsive again. When it did not I rebooted. Unreliable Game play in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I enjoy this game when it works. The background music has not been working for several weeks and last night it started playing again. Today it is back to not working. If I put the game in the Not Full screen mode, it will not scroll. About 25% of the time when the game autosaves. it locks up and I have to restart the computer. This just happened a few minutes ago. I just wish the game would play correctly.
