I see this when starting a new game as the Thalans in v1.2 Beta 1. On the first turn, I go into the Ship Builder to design a new colony ship. I choose a cargo hull. In the modules list, Basic Support is listed as Size 5. However, when I add one to my ship, it only uses up 4 units of capacity. PS - The size shows up as 5 in the tooltip for the installed component.

In my last game, I played the Yor, bent on galactic conquest. I had a starport on every planet, and ended up with a wide range of industrial capacity. I would keep a modern warship design in each hull size I had available. They each had had 2 of my best engines and a 2:1 ratio of attack to defense, with types chosen based on my current target. When I was at war, I would tune my economy so that my highest production planets could produce my largest ships in 5 weeks or less.

From what I remember about OCC, it would be permissible to invade a planet as long as you immediately get rid of it. I would reccomend invading with the tactic that does the most damage to PQ, and then destroying the colony, leaving the planet empty. Eventually an opponent would recolonize, but they'd have lower quality to work with, and have to start from scratch. Alternatively, you could invade with traditional or information warfare and keep the new planet, but you'd have to destro

Here's a list of some cosmetic issues I've noticed while playing version 1.1: 1. When you rename a fleet, the dialog box says "Please enter a name for your ship." 2. The Ship Yard labels projectile attack strength as "Mass". The Ship Builder labels it as "Gun". 3. The Ship Detail dialog lists Speed in units of "su", Sensor Range in units of "su", and Range in units of "pc". In other places, the units are "pc/wk", "pc", and "sct", respectively.

Can you check to see if the inactive AIs have a colony square on their worlds? I had one round in the campaign where my enemy never did anything, and when I took their homeworld, they had a full build queue, but no initial colony, therefore no production or research (or food, for that matter).

I played the Escape mission from the Dread Lords Campaign for the first time last night, on Normal difficulty. Over the course of the mission, the Dread Lords did not build anything. I never saw a Dread Lords ship, and when I invaded (using Traditional Warfare) I found their planet had no improvements, not even a colony. Every tile had some imporvement waiting to be built, but the planet had 0 production (and 0 research, and 0 food). Is this the way the mission is supposed to be? Did
