In rebellion the vasari's startup is morely dependent on repair clouds for their expensive frigates. Last time i played them there was no longer a tech that reduces the cost of ships and there economic bonuses apart from neutrals only kicks in mid-game. You can't compare them to advent rebels in terms the number of corvettes produced coupled with shield bonuses and other debuffs. Also the new cap for the vasari is not as impressive as the other races in terms of killing corvet

Advents superior dps pontential is the result of the discord debuffs and effecient use of fracture scream combos. when you have 2 discords there like reading each others mind and whenever 1 activates fracture then the other screams.. Its a weak version of chastic burst but chastic burst never the less . When the additional power from the titan arrives then its game over. The eradica levels up so freaking fast with fracture+malice+scream that its funny.

The most awesome race right now is the Advent rebels when their titan rolls out.. I still lol when Chastic burst hits ships with malice and fracture active.. absolutely hilarious how a 70 frigate fleet turns to 20 then to 0 within minutes. Other than that your pretty much vulnerable until you get your titan. The best defense against chastic burst is group shield, suppression and Shield projection. Guardians with shield projections are working very well for me supporting suppression. Overall im always maxing unity mass by having over 70 units in a fleet and in my tests have sniped up to 10 titans and 4 starbases. My only concern is global unity should be a tier lower.

You would still play aweful If the tool tips told you defense frigates are good against long range frigates, fighters and corvettes. Try the new tutorials first.
