Warning, cheesy exploit included... I just posted a game that scored 85k. In this game I rushed to huge hull tech and started pumping out a few with stingers. This put me in the top military position and kept me there as I upgraded my ships. Having that advantage, I never went to war. BoogieBac, I'm having the same problem with the game locking up but SmartException doesn't catch anything. I can do a reload from last save and it runs fine for a while before locking up again.

No, I mean that when the AI builds a starport on a low PQ planet it can be either demolished or upgraded to some other type of building that would be of more use.

Jarru, thanks for that info. I'll have to see if I can put it to use. TBAY, I had over 8T population at the end of the game and over 7 mil bc. This was actually not planned but when the AI started its come back on me I had to re-group so it actually took me that long to conqure the map again. Hey folks I need some feedback please. I've not worked on websites in a while so I had forgot that I no longer have my screen set at 1024x768. It is now at 1280x1024 so what looks fine at that setting may not look ok at a lower setting. Anyway, if that made any sense, would you all let me know how the site looks? Now I know that SD probably does not read this thread but there is something seriously flawed in their scoring system for the metaverse. This first 5 games = full price, 6+ = 1/2 off does not compute in my little brain. I just posted a game for my new character "Major Tom". TBAY, I think you may be on to something. The first few games seem to give you 100% of the score posted but it seems to decrease at some point. I added up all of my posted scores and I should have a total of 239175. When I posted that 47K game last night, it only gave me 1/2 of it as a total score so it didn't put us into the 6th place spot. IF even the first 5 games are at 100% it will not take long to get back to this rank. Adding the 11 games jarru played he should have a total of 461322

I've noticed the same thing with the numbers, but with one exception. It doesn't seem like my last game score has been added to the empire total. Although it is possible I looked at it wrong, but I thought that after posting that 47k game it would have put us in 6th place. I know that my ranking hasn't changed yet (and I"m assuming it would being only 5k behind TBAY). Hopefully it will have changed by morning.

Ironically I still have my GC2 disk in my cd drive. Guess I'm just use to leaving a disk in there. I know I've seen others post this, but I was just playing along and had an income of about 3k. Next thing I know I hit turn and had a negitive balance. I cut off everything and just hit end turn a bunch of times hoping it would fix itself, but it never did. I have the save game if the dev's need it, but truthfully I'm not sure if it would help.
