I've heard this occurs, but whenever I've had over 20k I haven't noticed it. I guess I was raking it in so well I didn't see much difference, and I never bothered to delve into the numbers. I also try very hard to max out my econ bonus, so perhaps there was mitigation there that furthered me not seeing a reduction. I've heard people that play on the larger galaxy sizes have this problem frequently. My small-medium galaxy self doesn't get much green like that too often.

If you wipe them out and it's april 8th, and u click turn and the game goes to the victory screen, that's the earliest you can do it right? Or do u have to wait until april 15th? In the game I just finished, I conquered a planet that was PQ 18 and was still terraformable and BM-able to about 24, had a 700% and 2 300% industries, and an influence tile. Needless to say, this planet pewped out beefy ships at an enjoyable rate.

I can see how this would blow, but the one time it's happened to me, I was at war with 1 race, and 2 others declared war on me. I thought I was dead in the water, then these ships came, and all I did was max out research while everyone's fleets died, because I knew I wouldn't lose any planets. So it can be handy depending on the situation.
