Yeah I rarely use it, but it should stay in. I put it to 100% as soon as I start a game and leave it there. Sometimes I need a boost of emergency cash, and I drop it to zero for a turn to fill my coffers. usually when I'm broke and need funds for invasion spending. Also helps occasionally in ZYW, but that lowers my scores so I try to avoid it if possible.

Yeah initially I was like ZOMG PQ Bonus. But as thetraviler stated, 5% is beans until you have a very high PQ planet to begin with since Stardock rounds down in these situations. And as our esteemed canine compatriot pointed out, it's probably to be taken with other PQ bonuses, although they'd have to be tech traded for since it's the only one in the Torian tech tree. And I gotta say it, I LOVE, just LOVE, the biosphere modulator. I never even used it to do that 72 PQ thing. I

Hmm can't edit. Also the guy that did a vast majority of the story for them, Drew Karpyshyn, a Canadian dude, he also wrote Mass Effect, and he wrote a Star Wars novel that is kinda based on KOTOR story line called Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. It was a great book. That guy has done more for star wars since 1983 than Lucas IMHO.

Oh my god, a MMORPG KOTOR-style? Dude, as dorky as this sounds, KOTOR 1 and 2 like, touched my soul. I dunno, I just deeply loved those games and immensely enjoyed playing them. I replayed each probly 8 or 10 times just to make sure I saw all the content. Good, Evil, middle, dude, chick, everything. And if WOW almost took over my life, if this game is well done, my life will cease to exist lol.

What he means Neilo, is we are so awesome, that he understands that our extraordinary dominance and skill would be diminished if we were to link up with some cold-blooded, scaly quadrupeds. I respect and applaud their understanding that the grass is, indeed, greener on our side of the fence.

Got my 3rd ZYW. Scored 30,450 in a tiny galaxy. This is also my first win on suicidal difficulty, so a double huzzah to me for that :D

Just did my 2nd ZYW. Got 22,050, fair improvement from my first. I can't currently conceive of doing this on a gigantic galaxy, unless the opponent was very close with not that many colonizable planets around them. Also, my alignment thingy is showing up again so no prob there. Both my ZYW's I finished before May.

Nice I did my first ZYW. 20,650 was my score. Not too shabby. I wish I had customized my alignment to be evil. I'm all neutral and stuff. Which is odd since it doesn't show an alignment medal in my forum medals.

What's ARC? I've checked a ton of pages and can't find it. Also, I tried my first ZYW earlier, I had one enemy planet left at the end of the year. Tiny , rare all, obscene (and for having rare all, there were a fricking lot of planets. More than I'd have thought). Not bad for a first try. I'm gonna do one again right now.

They not only time traveled, but came from another dimension as well. How do you know what physical laws are in play in this dimension, or how time flows there? YOU DON'T KNOW MAN!! lol put away your philosophical magnifying glass and leave the bug dudes alone.

I'm not sure what difficulty you play on, but on Obscene, it isn't that easy to make trades for things like that. Usually their research is so ahead of mine is some areas, it limits what I can trade to them. Also, to stay ahead militarily, I rarely have a lot of cash on hand until perhaps mid game, so it's difficult to trade large sums of dough for techs/planets or to make war. With some races it's easier (drath, terrans), but usually it's fairly expensive.

Wow 300 bucks? I saw Metallica in Buffalo for $65. The seats were in one of the farthest sections though. Still a great show. Alice in Chains kicks ass too. I've really liked them since middle school. Damn shame about the lead singer. Heroine is nasty stuff.

Starship troopers is a good movie if it's not taken to be well modeled after the book. The book is actually kind of depressing since the bugs are basically kicking the humans' asses. I enjoyed both, but I read the book after so maybe that's why I still like the movie. That and Denise Richards was sooo hot back in the day, before she got violated by that idiot hooker-banger charlie sheen.

Bush didn't come up with Strategery. It was an SNL joke involving Will Ferrell. Bush thought it was funny so he named his White House situation room "The Strategery Room" in honor of the skit.
I would really like to have a "research queue" and "build ship queue".
This is a great idea. I concur on both points.
Pathfinding should take into account ASTEROID fields or other areas
Not always, but often I will move a ship, and it will go into an asteroid and get its movement down to 1 for that turn. That can hurt in a crucial battle, especially when it's a troop ship.
[espionage], barely even use it now, for a fe
