Dude, that's awesome. Which means this: In the game I just started, i have one 100% and one 300% industry bonus tiles on my Thalan homeworld rofl. I'm going to be a production fricking powerhouse.

Hmm this post doesn't show up for me in the list.
If I make a galactic achievement such as the Thalan's temporal thingy that gives 16mp on a industry bonus tile, does this increase it, or do bonus tiles only work for normal factories?
Sounds bad enough that it is disqualified from MST3K, and THAT is going some.Is that even possible? I don't think anything could beat Manos: The Hands of Fate - I mean, they forgot to put in the opening credits in that movie, so the entire opening sequence consisted of people driving through fields with "mounrful" music playing in the background...
Haha the best MST3K hands down is Santa Claus vs the Martians. Me and my brother still sing the Patrick Swayze Christmas
This just in: Men between the ages of 18 and 30 have suddenly and collectively come to the conclusion that popping their collar does not, in fact, make them cool. More as this late breaking story develops...
Ok awesome. Thank you ;D I'll definitely be playing that tonight.
What is the "The Thing", sorry never watched the movie before.
It's hard to describe what it is without ruining the great story. If you want to know, rent it and I promise you will be glad you did.
I would add the Monster from the Id from The Forbidden Planet in, because its brilliant.
Yes. Good choice. Me and my dad love that movie and that monster. The effects from a movie made in the early '50s that still look cool. I love how when the monster sneaks into the ship and it goes up the stairs and they bend under its weight...
I've known a couple girls that played starcraft and some wc3 and were actually fairly decent looking. I've also met a few that played counter-strike and some COD4. And the biggest female-playing game that i know of is DEFINITELY world of warcraft. I know over a dozen girls, from ugly to very tasty that play WOW. And contrary to what I thought would happen, their characters spanned horde and alliance, healing and dps. I figured chicks would all be Night elf priests or druids. <
Ok cool. Do you have to play SR-1 to know what's going on in SR-2? Because I hear SR-2 is way more fun, and if I won't be clueless story-wise, I'll just play that one instead.
John Carpenter's The Thing. I get girls to watch it and they love it. Early 80's special effects that still make me squirm a bit in my seat after seeing the movie 20+ times. Great story too. Not just a wanton gore-fest.
Stardock owns. Brad Wardell '08!
Ok, I got the 1st Space Rangers game yesterday and I am sucking horribly at it. It's quite irritating. It's fun, yet I feel like I can never accomplish anything. The whole point is to kill Klissans. Problem is, even when i have nice hull and 4 guns, i go to any of the systems where they are, and 7 ships come at me, i kill one, and die before i can escape with the protoplasm. Is there something I'm totally missing? I'd like to play it, but I'm simply at a loss. There's no online walk thru's or st
One time the AI asked me for "Tree Fitty". I woulda given it to him to avoid war, but right when I was about to capitulate, I noticed that the "Korath Ambassador" was really a 15 story-tall creature from the Paleolithic Era. So I said, "Dammit Lochness Monsta, I aint givin' you no tree fitty! Get off my porch!"
Daaamn woman!! No wonder he keeps comin' back! You keep givin' him tree fittay!!! Yeah purge beat me but I love that episode so I had to jump
Haha I remember deadlock 2. that was some fun stuff. It annoyed me about only having 2 tanks per spot, 4 missiles, etc, but it was fun.
I think it's quite random. Some games, I'll have 'em all over, some kinda ehh medium, and others they will be scarce as hell. Varying galaxy sizes experience this randomness, at least IME.
oh my god Starwars: Rebellion??? soooo fun. I'm too nasty at it now so the hardest AI can't handle me. I have to give it chances haha. But back to the topic, aside from some spying tweaks, this is a pretty nasty game. When I was in college before I graduated a year ago, I had wednesdays off, and I would be up til 5am playing GC2. time flies when I play it. I don't let myself play before work cuz I know I'll be like "just do this one thing then go" and I'll be late haha. <
My FPS has increased noticeably. On large galaxies with 7 opponents, I had to move ships zoomed out until the icons showed up or everything would slow to a crawl. (I have a radeon x800 pro, so I don't have a terrible card, but nothing insane). Now I can move things normally. If the guys that made counter-strike acted like Stardock, maybe that game wouldn't be a piece of crap that I quit playing.
The more you play, the more you learn about the tech. Before long, you don't wonder what anything is anymore.
I can't believe nobody has yelled "Bring out the GIMP!" yet. Please allow me to be the first. "I think the gimp is sleeping"....."Well, then you better wake him up now, shouldn't you?" ahh i love Pulp Fiction
ohh you win a game with each race and post it. ahh gotcha
Totally off topic, but how do you get the "Racial Victory" medal?
I didn't think 15 was that good. Well, my race did have +2 to speed, but perhaps it's because I only use one advanced troop carrier per ship. i only put 1000 troops on each. Maybe that's why I can squeeze more juice out of 'em.
hmm, I hadn't thought of using a dedicated ship solely for that purpose. I'll have to try that.
That's the way to roll. My birthday wasn't around its release date, so alas, I had to buy it
