Somewhat off topic, but in relation to Denryu/GW Swicord, I do hope that we won't -have- to rotate our cameras whatsoever, except for taking fancy photographs. :)
ETHICS: I see the undeads summoned by "good" channelers as being gohstly or spectral in nature, and primerily defensive (hard to damage, but don't really DO much damage). Evil undeads would take physical form, and while they have more attack, they are esier to kill.
No way. On the topic of LAN parties, I completely agree. We rarely, if ever, had a stable connection. We tended to have some kind of basic connection for the use of IM's and the like, but other than that.. nothing you could play a game on. This somewhat ties into my loathing of how later Diablo II patches and Hellgate handled things. Play in a LAN or Offline, and you only get half the game, forcing you to play on their servers to get the full experience. But I guess that's another topic.

And..the laptop was plugged in, and it felt into the water and the girl is still in the but. Well..you can guess what tragedy occured.
Sounds like an urban legend. I've got a hard time seeing anyone dying that way, except in movies.
Yup. Even when I played SC at LAN parties years ago, we always just used battlenet. Unless you don't have internet at home (in which case it's unlikely you'll be the host of a LAN party anyway), this won't have that much impact on you. It will affect VLAN-using pirates, though.
Or those of us that enjoy having a measure of control over our games.
No, it's not activision. I didn't mean in technical terms. If Stardock stopped producing games and we got into a similar discussion, it could've just aswell applied to them - even though they "produced the best windows applications ever!" . I should've said produced any game worthwhile .

I'd like it. As long as it's not confined to multiplayer/online. I like collecting achievments, but hate having it tied to the interwebs.

1) Is the process of Channeler creation distinct from nation-creation and if so, how involved will either of them be? 2) Will nations have 'super aspects' to them such as "Isolationist", "Super Breeder", etc in GalCiv2 and if so, will there be more options other than those already assigned to pre-existing Kingdoms and Empires? 3) A variety of mounts. Please? [e digicons]:pout:[/e] 4) How will the elements be organized & categorized? We've come to understand that,
