I have almost 2000 hours playing this game and have my eye on Galactic Civilizations IV. My comment is to III but I have a feeling it applies to IV as well. Can you please focus more on the AI and teach it how to design its planets. If you do that I have a feeling the AI will do much better in all other areas. It is frustrating that the AI is always so far behind (even when I raise the difficulty) because it simply does not know how to design its

This agency provides a Diplomatic Bonus and has an adjacent bonus (to others) for Influence, Wealth and Tourism. HOWEVER It gets no bonuses from anything but the interface does show that RESEARCH provides some sort of bonus to it which is odd. IMO it should be influence items.

Aye, COVID-19 only slowed things down in the begining but as the company I worked for discovered they cut costs down as they no longer needed the space to house us. They also cut energy usage costs etc.... In the other areas they went all in for Microsoft Teams and sending laptops out to all the developers. Honestly my productivity went way up! Back to GC IV, I have not purchased it. Yes I have an EPIC account but it was forced on me and not by choice meaning I got keys
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues. Does the issue goes away if you do Explorer.exe restart ? Thanks Basj, Stardock Community Assistant. I have dual monitors and the HB Reverb V2 headset When I use the VR headset (with Steam VR) and then turn it off Start 11 menu icons on the task bar no longer show me the little window over the icon when hovering over it if the app is open already. Second monitor when hovering the mouse works fine, primary monitor it does not. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/24/73/2473287/1918872c-001e-46f4-b794-427e394ec9e4.jpg" alt="Desktop" width="1920" heigh

This bug has been here for years and figure I report it. Just thought others would have seen it but I guess not. If the places a spy on one of your buildings and instead of use counter spy on it you instead delete the building and then re-create it the spy is removed. HOWEVER On the Espionage screen the planet keeps showing up on the list as a planet with enemy spies on it but when yo go to the planet there is no spy to remove.

Ive done extensive work with LUA - Did the construction AI for Hearts of Iron 3 Sempter FI - Wrote all of the LUA in retrospect for the Hearts of Iron 3 Sempter FI expansion in regards to AI abilities One side is yes LUA did provide allot of apportunities for me to enhance the engine and overall I did enjoy it over the old Paradox script/event system they had in place from Hearts of Iron 2 (their Europa Engine). But overall LUA is not capable of handling heavy AI loading

Yes, the goal here is a re-launch of the game. If they made an expansion the stigma of the reviews and bad posts people have made in regards to the game bugs etc... will destroy any potential sales they could get from it. Renaming the game and fixing the issues is a better way to go. It is basically a fresh start. Seen this before in other companies and products and it has advantages. I knew the game was bugged before I bought it in November and read many of those reviews but I also knew the
Simple people. If you bought the game before Oct 2010 then you get both standalone future games for free. If you bought the game after Oct 2010 but before the beginning of the year, then you get the first standalone free, and the second at a sharp discount. Its unfortunate that so many forum users can't read a simple post given by the developer. Its also s
"Elemental: Fallen Enchantress is expected to be released in the Summer of 2011. It will be free to those who purchased Elemental: War of Magic in 2010 and be available at a significant discount for those who purchase War of Magic." It can be found here https://forums.elementalgame.com/403846
Perfect, thanks! I missed that in the original.

I think you guys miss the point If the classify it as a second game and never make an expansion for War of Magic that means the sales pitch they gave everyoen in December that if you guy the game before the end of the year you get the first expansion free has been null envoid and you get nothing for free. What in essence they can do is now claim this new game as a new game and re-charge everyone for what really is the expansion for War of Magic and never have to keep their pro

Sounds good Just hope we still get the free expansion if you purchased Elemental before the end of 2010. From a lawyer/word type perspective this news could be used to explain that such an expansion does not exist and will not exist and therefore the promise of getting the first expansion will not be kepted because such an expansion does not exist and instead it was replaced with a new game that was based on the code of the old game. Which then could potentially lead to fraud but I le

Sounds great but can we please fix the OOM issue in the original game so I can atleast play it. I can understand it has other bugs and AI/balance issues but the OOM is a CTD that happens every 15 minutes in mid to end game. How about a nice hot fix for that and then work on the expansion.

I asked earlier but it is not in the changelog nor has anyone answered, has the Out of Memory (OOM) issue been resolved? If it has not then there is no point of even playing as I dont feel like restarting the client every 15 minutes when I hit mid game.
