I read the gameplay and saw skirmish and scenario (which sound fun). Will there be a Risk-type game mode for the galaxy (similar to Planetary Annihilation but better)? I love playing with a friend against a bunch of AI in games that have risk game types.

I looked through the other posts and never saw one for this yet... so I was just wondering if the preorder is going to go to Steam?
He looks pretty good, but if he's a melee assassin why does he have a ranged damaging attack that does more damage with level? I think the ranged attack should be change to deal minimal damage and have another effect, such as slowed movement speed. Or even better -- make the DG effected approach the assassin for x seconds.
Well, there was a warning before installing it that it may have problems working on an Admin account. But since I own the computer, it's illogical to make myself a non-admin. So the only account on my computer is me -- the admin. I was just wondering if there are any known ways around the admin problem on 64-bit Vista. When I attempt to start the program, it does the usual vista start-up choose an option window (which usually has 'Run' or 'Close'), but has differen
I would really like to see some arena's in grassy, mountaneous, foresty area's. And possibly on top of that, add some sort of neutral power (that will help or attack demigods, like treants).
I haven't been able to connect to Impulse with my girlfriends, brothers, or my own account since last weekend. I was just wondering if there was some changes to the software that might have made it impossible to get through my firewall... because I already have the proper port on my port forwarding list.
Well, I see your point regarding AI improvement in Demigod. Without even looking at another game, I think they could improve the AI. Watching them run behind enemy towers to get a kill usually turns out badly for them, although that was my only source of experience and gold playing against AI in the singleplayer tournament on nightmare difficulty. I too agree that Senda should have ridden a polar bear. In fact, I actually thought she did based on the packaging of the
Oh, and I also wanted to mention that my girlfriend is really enjoying this game and she brought to my attention her desire for a Demigod that rides a polar bear. I think it would be nice, too. :)
Alright, sorry for my vague post earlier; was a little busy and wanted some responses asap. But some of the idea's I like most about that particular map are: -There are more than two directions where the armies travel -There are many different "heroes" to choose from and you can change which one you control mid-game (although I know Demigod will never have that feature, perhaps some kind of upgrades that can increase the skill-tree and level cap where you can choose one of s
There is a map for War3 TFT called "Battle Tanks". It is nearly the last map that I still play and very much enjoy on the game. It surprisingly has a large amount of detail to it which keeps it entertaining. So I was thinking that maybe the Demigod team could look for some idea's from this map and improve upon them. Here is the website for the map itself: http://www.btanks.net/v2/ I truly do believe this map do have great idea's in it.&
Kingmaker, I see where you're coming from but how do you think games like... Diablo 2 (I know it's way different, but it's the concept that matters) worked out? I mean a level 99 could join a level 1's game, or the host could make a level restriction and everybody got along just fine. I don't see it being that much differently for a game like this. Zepath thanks for the screeshots, I've never seen that game before. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" bord
oh great lol... well I wont be making that mistake in the future
Though tactical battles is a VERY close second... I always wanted to see a 3D environment - move away from the 2D star travelling. Oh and I always thought it'd be nice if you never had to research everything again after you began a new game... if Galactic Civ 3 is multiplayer maybe they could incorporate some sort of nation leveling system with a max number of research points possible.
Is it better to put a tech capitol on the library or a normal research lab?
lol Luger... $40 is hardly worth multiplayer. Stop being cheap. This game without multiplayer is worth more than $40. But that aside, I would like multiplayer to be included in the first expansion simply because the AI isn't very smart and they always go for war and I always have bad relations with them. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Mad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"
