When I first tried playing Elemental, those small buttons really made it difficult for me to navigate the UI. I had trouble finding the 'x' to close the windows! It is really small and I completely missed it. Not only does it cause a lot of annoyances for clicking, but for when those who've just started playing Elemental, those buttons can be easily missed.
For some of the equipment in the shop screen, their images are missing. They're also missing when I go to the equipment menu too. This started happening with 1.06. Any others with the same glitch? http://yfrog.com/n2ewombug4j

This has also happened to me on 1.06. But for me, zooming in and out still works. The whole saving and cloth map issue is still annoying though. If the zooming doesn't work, I tried clicking the clothmap option to check and uncheck and it would work again.
Well I'll just try a game with less bots and see how it goes.
I know it rather sounds wierd but it's happening to me. Never happened before with DL. It's pretty bad when the AI are actually moving. The turns may be rather quick but it is slowing down and stuttering at times. Even when I'm not doing anything and just scrolling around the map, the game slows down and the mouse weighs a ton. I haven't been able to complete a game with DA yet. I play with max number of bots with the difficulty set to cripply, I believe (one of the higher difficulties
Is it just me or is it very very slow and laggy during mid game when there are more ships on the screen? I'm playing DA and it's extremely laggy for me to do anything unless I zoom all the way out. I don't think this was a problem with DL. I didn't experience any problems playing DL and the load and save times were also much faster. Are there any solutions to this problem? I mean, I want a good game, but I also want a fast game that I can actually play. If this is not an issue with DL then I mig

You can do all of that or just do what Yarlen said and go to options > video and uncheck fullscreen
I don't know if this is new or not but I just realized that everytime I want to load up a previously saved custom race, I come out with -3 ability points. Is anyone getting this problem?
I think it has to be the galciv2.exe and not the launcher
the same thing is happening to me. It worked fine with the past patches but ever since I installed 1.1 the game has been a lot slower starting in mid games especially during battles.

Ever since I installed patch 1.1, the game has been a lot slower during turns and load times too. Everything else is fine. No crashes , audio or graphics problem at all. It's just slower than usual. Anyone know what the problem is?
I vote yes. This is a great game. Single player is amazing but for me, even though the game is great as it is, I still wish for multiplayer. I can only play single player for so long before I start getting the urge to face someone else (mostly friends and family) online. I like using my strategies against actual people because it makes me feel.....uh.....really good knowing that I just wooped an actual person and how they must be feeling
