The key is to mass large fleets of cheap ships with strong attack. Because of the way the battle system works (a ship can only target one enemy per round in combat), this lets you pummel them while only losing one ship per battle. Tactics for the fourth scenario- Achille's Heel? in Strategies GalCiv2 Forums

Anyone have any tips for winning the fourth scenario- Achille's Heel? Have played through it twice now, once on challenging and once on normal but haven't been able to beat it, the dreadlord weaponry pretty much wipes out anything I put against them. I don't want to lower the difficulty any further, was looking for some tips to beating this scenario.
