Exact Same problem for me too I puchased and downloaded online about 2 weeks ago the game updated once succesfully since then, now im rejected. Edit: Got mine to work, referred to some suggestions on other posts, run the update on the multimedia stuff first then go back and run the update on the game, worked like a charm for me

Hate other races being given light cruisers before i do, is there a way i can disable the random events ?
