I am trying to completly eliminate the windows taskbar so I need to add shortcuts for shutdown and restart so I dont have to go to the start menu. Does anyone know the argument for this? EDIT I was also hoping someone knew the path for the "Wireless network connection" command that usually floats in the taskbar. Thanks

I generally have 5-10 programs open at the same time. I really need something visual like the task bar. Just something that isnt so bloody clunky.
Well, I notcied that most of the skins bascily remove the windows taskbar so I was hoping that there was a stand alone piece that did it as well. I will look into those sugestions though.
I HATE the windows taskbar. The only reason I keep it around is to quicky swap between programs. Is there a widget out there that will basiscly just show what programs I have open and let me switch between them? Thanks
