Yes, thanks, I did indeed contact them and have sent them my serials last week. Awaiting their reply now.

Stardock Central is giving me email/serial errors for both expansions for Galciv 2 :( Needless to say I have legitimate licences, bought online from here.
Thanks Kryo
Is this not the right place for a tech support question like this?
I bought, downloaded, installed and played Twilight Of the Arnor and Dark Avatar expansions. It all worked fine. Today I changed my email address. When I started Stardock Central today, it came up with the error "Failed to validate your Dark Avatar (expansion pack) registration information. Please verify that you have entered your email address and serial number correctly." I got the same error for Twilight of the Arnor. The expansion does play
Thanks Just in time for xmas
I pre-ordered and paid for the Twilight of the Arnor expansion ages ago when it was announced. When is it coming out? Do I presently get access to anything as a result? e.g. perhaps th beta?
Thanks, I'll give that a try when I get home
Yeah That's exactly why I just want to read up the stories now
Does no one know where this might be available pls?
I bought Dread Lords ages ago, but am only a bit over half way through the campaign. I've bought Dark Avatar and not even started it. Now the Arnor expansion is announced! I don't have the patience to play through these two campaigns (I'd rather play custom games), but would like to read the whole story. Is that online anywhere to read? Thanks
Thanks Just what I needed to know
There are also some brilliant missions as well, so it is well worth being a little bored to get to them. My personal favourite mission is where the DL's are first encountered. Because you are only allowed 1 weapon type it makes it very hard to defeat the dreadlords, so that is of course why i love that mission! I did that mission, but really struggled until I used the small ships strategy against them. To be honest I didn't enjoy being so outc
I have been playing the original Dread Lords campiagn, and despite having bought Dark Avatar haven't started that one yet I've played quite a few missions in the campaign and am now in a mission where I'm told the Dread Lords took a great toll on us and the Drengin are now pressing their advantage. It is called Exploitation. How far am I in the campaign? Can I see a mission tree somewhere? The thing is I am bored of the campaign, and want to play some random games - b

Cool ideas, thanks I'll use tiny hulls instead of medium this time. I agree about the 1 hit kills, so I might as well use a cargo hull.
Cool thanks. That's a great strategy and I will definitely use it. I actually managed the mission I was stuck on by building a large fleet of smaller (medium) ships with lots of mixed weapons but no defence. Defence was pointless anyway. The fleet also had one sensor ship that had lots of sensors. The Dread Lords would typically kill 2 ships in each engagement but my fleet eventually whittled them down. I like the single interceptor idea though <img src="http://imag
See the combat page on the wiki . Thanks, just what i was looking for
Does anyone know if the latest patch rules for the original Dread Lords game are posted up somewhere? I need to know how ship to ship combat is resolved, and how different weapons and defences interact pls. Thanks.
Great stuff!! Thanks for the strategies. This gives me hope. I thought it was just me being poor at the game!
Thanks 1/ They seem to have all 3 types of weapons. Is there a way to tell exactly what they have? 2/ Economy is not a problem..... at least until I lose so many ships that they start taking over my masively populated planets with a *tiny* handful of troops, thanks to their tech advantage of hundreds against my 2-4. 3/ I'll try that. I've got ships with 75% offense. <br/
I'm playing the mission in the original campaign where you meet the Dread Lords for the second time and have to capture their planet. You have 3 allied races as the Torians have just joined. However, Dread Lord ships have such advanced tech that they wipe out ships 95% of the time. No combination of tech works to defeat them. I've struggled for 4+ hours I've got missile and laser techs,
Stardock, you are the developers/publishers with the BEST customer support i've ever seen. That makes me extremely positive about buying future releases, including expansions. Keep up the great work guys
yea but you have to start a new game when you update so alot of people are waiting to start a game Can't you continue mid game when in the campaign if you apply the patch?
