SO played 2 tiny maps for about 6 hours. Man those tiny maps are HUGE. Might not be fun at all to play HUGE maps. Anyways, i didnt experience too much strategy in this game. 1. Terrain on a tile doesn't have any effect on movement across it or defense bonus. 2. If you have units in a town Anything to increase the defense of the soldier or have artillery support for attacking. Any benefits for defending a town?<br
Not really a bug, but confusing. The save the knight quest comes to your town, tells you to go to a cave to save a knight. THe cave is highlighted so i go to save him there. Do the quest. Now it says bring him back to your town. Well what they mean is take him back to your town that got the quest. Well since i have 4 towns i have no idea where to take him. So... a name or highlighted town would help.
I have to say I agree on most of these, but I have a few pointers on some: "Have automoves happen at the beginning of the turn instead of the end. This is how pretty much all other games seem to do it so the change can be confusing to some. I believe you do this as it gives the player a chance to change their minds but I find having an out of date picture more of a problem (i.e. you may discover units or towns during your moves which could make you react dif

Generally I really like a good tutorial. Only thing, don't make it so that we have to do it, just for those that want to. And if you make one with the basics of moving camera and units, left click to select, right click to interact and such, make that a seperate tutorial. It's probably nice to have if you haven't played a 4x before, but it's almost painful to go through if you have.

Nice with a update, but not a big fan of everything I must admit. My own thoughts in blue . There will only be 1 type of mana.... Not sure, could probably work ok, a bunch of different mana could get tedious. The battle system has been monkeyed with several times this week internally... <span style="color: #3366ff
A LOT of the traits just don't make sense. 1.Ugly- less children. Since when has being ugly prevented a rich and powerful leader from producing children? 2. Inefficient- construction penalty for city your sovereign is in. So when he leaves the city, it works better? How does that work? Wouldn't he stop adding(or taking away in this case) to the construction process after seeing how much of a proble

No doesn't help at all. The speed of the frighter doesn't matter as one in a trade route always have a speed of one. And the frighter doesn't effect the value of the trade route at all.

Yes I think it relative diplomatic power to. It goes up and down when races get new relevant tech and I think military power also factores in to it. As you have a easier time getting your way when your military is strong.

It doesn't seam like the AI knwo where the good planets are, so that works as planed. But it does seam like they know where all the resources are from time to time. They have a tendecy to get alot of them, and I've spotted constructs that are going in a straigth line towards a resources on the other side of my teritory. If not they are realy good at exploring. I normaly build 4 - 5 explorer ships after the first colony rush to look for resources, but by that time the AI ar

Miniturization increases hull capacity, but most components have a size modifier (sp?) added to it. So when the hull becomes large enough, the component gets larger to. And you gain nothing, on some hull sizes you sometime lose space. Not sure if it's a bug or not

The Arceans did something so stuid this last game it's not even funny . The Drengi and I was at war (btw I don't think I ever got any message stating his, they just started to attack my ships), anyway... Got a message from the Arceans saying they was going to help me out in my war against the Drengi, so they gave me some ships. 4 troop transports to be exact, and since I didn't have any myself, I told them to

p22: I'm not a 100% but I think thats what the "skip moves left over from autopilot" option does. Uncheck it and you are good to go

I think the reason you lose your tech from level to level is that if you didn't you could just spend alot of time on the first level. Make sure the Drengi don't die and have insane tech for all other levels

Every starbase generate some infulence in the erea they are build. So you don't need to build a infulence starbase to get longer range. But the bonuses given by the modules on the infulence starbase are multiplide to the background infulence. So if you got some infulence in the erea the infulence starbase will strenghten your hold there. Atleast thats how I thing it works
