Lucky Jack, If a business (or a person) does not hold any Bitcoin, they are simply using the Bitcoin protocol through a payment service, then the risk they are exposed to is no different than the risk of using paypal or any other credit card payment service. In fact, the risk is less so to the merchant, because they cannot receive a charge back. The transaction, once completed, is like cash. They literally receive cash in their bank account that night.
I agree, but the perception is never going to change unless people who understand its potential benefits, and know how to avoid the risks, push for its adoption. I'm just trying to do my part ;-)

GalCiv is one of my favorite franchises. I'm stoked that another iteration is being worked on! Is there any chance Stardock might accept Bitcoin for purchasing this game? I think they would get a ton of attention form the greater Bitcoin community if they did! What kind of interest is there in Bitcoin from GalCiv community?
By 'seeing' back there i meant 'selling' I know about all the legal junk PE went through. Ive been following this game from the begining. So sad no one could do it justice. Though to be honest i wasnt too thrilled with the way PE went about their build. From what I read it was bassed around Ship crews. You joined a ship as a crew member and had responsibilities. I have been a fan of Star Trek for a long time but have yet to try out STO. Currently I am in Haiti, and missed the drop date for STO. However I will be back home in about 2 weeks!!! Chuck Norris dreamed the original KOL battleship into existence! It was cute and cuddly as he towered over it, much like Leila's Nibbler. It was able to devoured entire star systems only to poop them out as anti-matter. But alas, he awoke. And the rest is history...
umm creditsuisse, this whole experiment is obviously not scientific. from the begining youve been nothing but a naysayer. Im in this to have some fun. I happen to enjoy a good tough game, even when i lose i learn and thats fun to me. Yes my skill is not top notch. What i personally would like to see is what was originally talked about. Having a tech that increased the carriers from one spad to two. yes there would have to be some balancing as far as fleet points and what not but i think it would make it more interesting. And it would make carriers more valuable late game!

sorry guys i miss calculated the time zones. Im in cali. I just got home. I re-built my computer over last weekend and am looking forward to using my new system however its taking longer then i remembered to down load Sins from Ironclad. it could be a little bit im at 13% after about as many minutes
BTW, id rather not be on a team with a bunch of computers or randomes, so if anyone else wants to come along for the ride it should be interesting.

For the record, i EXPECT to lose because i too know how to counter Strike Craft spam, but i will play on the spamming team for the sake of this experiment. Im from New Zealand but now live in California. I gotta say that putting the month first, while a bit confusing when not used to it, does make sense when sorting through large amounts of documents or saving files with the date in the name on your computer. It automatically organizes the files by month then day (conologically correct) as apose to all the 20ths being together and then all the 21ths being together. Just makes more sense. And as for the driving
here here to being back at school. Sucks having to blow the dust out and turn everything back on...
