Its not like your losing anything you already have. Even though in the story these two races are going ploohie, you can still play them until Galciv 3. Its not like by installing the expansion a middle finger is going to pop out and take away content

Usually i try to have 3-4 shipyards that can pop out a capital ship every 4-7 turns. However with tax rates i canr arley get above 39-42% without my approval going low. I try to emphasize on approval building but it doesnt make a significant difference. I think essential ill just have to emphasise economy, a strong economy is a strong millatary.

Alright so im playing a game, this happens to me in pretty much any setting. And my economy is doing good, real good. Im pulling in lots of cash and my treasury is generaly going up, and my tax rates arent even that high. However i dont have any warships, when i start building them almost immedaitly im in debt and i have to lower my spendign rates and increase taxes to just try and stay afloat. My civilization is usually neutral, and balanced when it comes to planetary improvments.

Also with accessible travel it would increase moral. And if you establish these 'space highways' with aliens it would improve relations. Think of Canada and USA, and alot of eur

I was thinking as i played the game, that when i look at my controlled areas it seems so... lonley. the only traffic is warships and freighters. So methinks that could be a way to have more of civillian presence. Space routes - a space highway sort of thing between planets and space-stations. Also they could be targets in warfare that lower morale. Food for thought anyhow
