That could be a very valid reason thanks!

First and foremost, you guys are TEH AWEXOME. Just thought I'd get that out of the way to begin with Now then, I'm having this issue with Windowblinds where the toolbar icons just... don't... change. I've double checked my settings - that the toolbar button skinning is on, that I have a set of icons ed, and even set to force them regardless of what skin I'm using. Still nothing. I reinstalled Windo
Actually, it helps to let it out. Do your best to understand what drives us to screw up so often. I think I got myself figured out just today, after a month of this stuff. And just one week of blogging how I felt was enough to help
Truth and lots of it. Way to go
Good point. The US put themselves in a touchy situation right now with the rest of the world. Every other country will be thinking 'pompous bastards' long before Unmericans do anything to prod at it. But just watch, I guarantee they'll still pull off another 'bring em on' tactic of mass hystaria.
Guys get jealous, it happens. But yaknow, that instills an extra bit of passion because we're trying ever harder to top whatever we believe might be an alternative to ourselves. I think as long as you let this guy know you're not intending to jump someone else while you're attached, it'll be fine. Patch things up with him, assure him he's got nothing to worry about, but don't let him run your social life. Just ask him to trust you. We like to
I'm suprisingly good at helping other people with these kinds of things. What's up?
oops, I meant to say -she-
poor guy feels ignored is all (((hug))) anyhow, I think by the 'first panel back', he means Shellstyles -- the left hand 'panel' of explorer windows. I've been having problems getting this skinned as well, and I found that the folder backgrounds won't apply either - those are part of shellstyles too. I've tried with different updated skins, with folder backgrounds enabled and disabled from the visual effects dialog, and with a plethora of Shellstyle option combinations from the
Once again we see Stardock peeps going above and beyond the call of duty. Good work
I love the speed, totally noticable. Just having problems getting shellstyles to show up.
correction* seems I was wrong about the User Icon feature -- turns out it lets you -dis-able the icon dispite having the welcome screen turned on. Wish I could do the opposite
do shellstyles work for you elvee? *looks lost*
- right click My (your) Computer - choose Properties - select Advanced tab and open Visual Effects dialog box - Uncheck "Show Backgrounds for Specific Folders Types" (or something to that effect) No go it was checked and shellstyles still didn't apply with the skin.

Issue: Shellstyles don't display, or the option to have it displayed is hard to find/enable. Resolved issues since 3.4: Hiding keyboard shortcuts on menus finally works while windowblinds is enabled and macromedia studio mx seems to work fine, compatibility bugs have been squaaaaashed. Pleasant suprises: Ability to display your User Icon on the Start Menu even with the welcome screen di
Yeah I do my regular surfing on IE too. Webblinds smartblocking ahoy
MSN Explorer? I find it handy for my online roleplaying group, since I have multiple MSN Passports for different characters. I just wish they would skin the darn thing.
Just click the icon on the top of your start menu and choose to browse for a new image.
Do you have ICQ docked to one edge of the screen when it comes up? If so, windows is treating it like a toolbar, resulting in the funkified desktop and windows.
Freedom is... good... um... I like it. Grr no intelligence from me after a long day of work maybe I'll have something smarter to say later.
So far I'm betting on Jafo. He's so dreamy :F I'm wondering how wincustomize managed to attract a more civil group of people. might it be because the software is for sale, rather than winamp.com's free player and the 'free beer crowd' philosophy?
*pats dig's head, gives him a lollypop and sends him to rant at superwebsearch's IT team now* even though they're a spyware company, I gotta pity em now.
Between the awesome supportive community of Wincustomize and Winamp.com's nefarious troll-ridden rating system? Where did Nullsoft go wrong? A more-than-fair chunk of reviews for winamp skins and plugins seems to be nothing but jealous rambling by people who've never lifted a finger to make one themselves and have no idea how much effort it takes. The place has been torn to shreds by these people. There's no recovery aside from deleting the whole dang thing. How did it happen? Why is th
My gal made an awesome set of Emotes for our roleplaying characters on this one community. The spinning one was so hypnotic... http://groups.msn.com/2mkubngphrhqgibqs9b5bq3a04/general.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=14950
