Game Price in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Um... I searched and couldn't find this elsewhere but it baffles me. I thought dead tree sales were supposed to be more expensive then digital distributuion. I'm in Canada and this kinda baffles me. It's cheaper not just from exchange but actually cheaper without exchange to buy the game from a retail outlet. And not just one retail outlet. Both BestBuy and Futureshop are cheaper in Canada then the DirectDownload version. *boggles*

Dread Lords came out and I wanted badly to buy it. But have not because of the lack of multiplayer. I had posted on a friends site all the good reviews of GalCiv2 and a bunch of people were excited. Especially concidering that the price of a game with so many good reviews was so reasonable. (40$ CDN) Then I mentioned the no multiplayer and all interest evaporated. I'm still hoping it (multi) comes out. I can see from these posts that many that have bought the game would rather h
