Well I for one am looking forward to the suites and I'm glad I subscribed.
Woodbridge
Does that mean the suites are available for download? BTW they look fantastic
Wow thats acool program, nice one Xymantix
Please do not feed the troll.
You've made the right choice if things aren't clicking. Hope you find your mojo soon.
I picked Linux because I know how to use it - I've never tried a Mac
Yep a good version...but its in desparate need of some decent icons....
Think outside the DX box people Just imagine a desktop without the need of a mouse. Bill's example of The Minority Report is a good choice, being able to 'pull' virtual desktops into focus so you can work on them while still seeing others in the background...curse my 15" monitor this ain't all gonna fit on <A HR
Can't wait
Whenever I upgrade to a better CPU it nealy always means getting a new motherboard and RAM, I tend to upgrade CPU every 9-10 months. I upgrade things like Graphic cards and soundcards when I feel they are getting slow (for games mostly) Current system 1900+ Athlon XP 512MB pc133 RAM ATI Radeon 8500 Next due upgrade is in 6 months time <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gi
I'm guessing that the pixtudio in the bottom corner would suggest that its gonna be another cool suite from pixtudio.com
Neowin.net is now saying ------------------------- Neowin is closed TEMPORARILY. We don't have the capacity to support the type of site we have always wanted to bring to our visitors. Despite our best efforts we are still refusing our visitors and long term members the web site due to errors similar to "Server too busy" Since Neowin will never be just another phpnuke or copycat wannabe tech site we would rather call it a day than continue to limp on our resources. So f
Installed it on my XP box at home and its been running for 4 hours without crashing and i've been playing around with nearly all the settings.
I was going to submit this as news but the submit page would not load up for me RIP Neowin
Neowin.net has closed down due to bandwidth issues (sound familiar?) I visit the site quite alot but I didn't see this coming. ------------------------------------------------------------ Neowin is closed for now. We don't have the capacity to support the type of site we have always wanted to bring to our visitors. Despite our best efforts we are still refusing our visitors and long term members the web site due to errors similar to "Server too busy" Since Neowin
It seems to crash on my work machine (2k box), but when its not crashing it does its job well. But then so does 2.80.
WindowBlinds version 4 should not include 98 / ME support. My 2 pence worth.
oh wait, your talking about skinning aren't you well I've been 'into' skinning for over a year now, many attempts to make my own skins many many (ermm all of them) have been put on hold (read: scrapped) However, I love using other peoples skins to make my PC the envy of my office. and can I add this smiley to my last post <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/miam.gif" bor
I've been into Sheryl Crow since '96 mmmmmmm
You both do great skins, infact, 500RS is the skin I am using right now and have been for a while. The thing with tom tom that I like is that it is more of a suite than just one skin. I think one of the reasons that it has become so popular is that it doesn't look like a mac theme.
aout? opps, just 'out' and the last 'to' should be 'too' mumble*stupidkeyboard*grumble
There is a cool looking, original, StyleXP theme over on Neowin (http://www.neowin.net/bboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39061&perpage=15&pagenumber=6 - big screenshot at bottom) it is also posted on DA (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation.php?id=505247) its called 'tom tom'. I would dearly love to see somebody get permission to do a port of it to WindowBlinds. I had tried to do a personal port but it turned out....well...<img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/burk.gif" border=0 ALIG
Woodbridge is the name of the company I work for, when someone walks while I'm at work in and I'm browsing the internet I just point out my user name and say I'm doing stuff thats comapany realated normally works... My other online name is Bedlam normally used when playing UT. It comes from a mental hospital in England. http://www.museum-london.org.uk/MOLsite/exhibits/bedlam/bedlam.htm -
I believe Hein has given permission for just one person to convert and distribute his icons (over on Neowin) I doubt Virk has got permission for the DX trash icon.
500RS (https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2634) is a simple skin that I keep on returning too.
