Oops, forgot to quote my above post: "Base resistance on colonies changed from 50% to 25% Like seriously? You can already reap most of the planets with 1 transport no matter how much population it has and how many defense structures you build. So now you can just select -2 soldering and -2 resistance techs, ignore defense building and exploit AI even more. Expect the patches to be a bit further
Frogboy, Well done with a polite and civilized response to a typical interweb denizen. Of all of the game developers currently out, Stardock has always, in my book, been the most forth right with its customers. A well done and hearty congrats to you and the Galactic Civ 3 dev team.
Oh I feel so silly. I would like to change my star's name, I noticed that you can do that as stated in the guidelines. How do I go about that? Can I just put another submission request, or do I need to create a support ticket. Thanks.
Thank you for the quick reply.
So, can we still name a star. If so where is a link to that page. Signed So confused!
Well, madness has overtaken me. I ordered the Ultimate Edition on Steam. Frogboy this is my reasoning behind this: 1 I love Stardock games. 2. I approve of your business model and handling of the DRM issue in the early days. I feel that you are one of the few who get it. 3. The handling of Elemental/Fallen Enchantress confirmed me as a customer for life. So here is my hard earned cash and looking forward to the new adventures
Is it even worth arguing with the small minded un-educated. Kinda of like watching FOX news, only humorous for short while.
Downloaded the 1.02 update from the web page. So the game is now updated. Still, I wonder why the game is no longer showing up in SC account.
Same here. Just put in a post today, did not see this one.
1.02 in not in my StarDock Central. Wom is there. In fact FE is no longer in the downloads for updates or to install/uninstall the game. It has vanished. It is still on my PC and is bootable. Has this happened to anyone else. Any suggestions?
Another way to get the manu, an easy way to find the manual, is in your steam game listing. Right click on the sins title and one of the choices is for the manual. You can then save it to your desired location? This works for most of your steam games.
Thanks for the replies! At this point I will keep Trinity on my PC. BTW do not own Xbox or PS3. Strictly a PC gamer!
I have now purchased and installed Rebellion. My understanding is that is an update of Trinity! Better graphics and the Titans added. Looking for opinions. Any reason to keep Trinity on the PC?
Is there a way to retreat and run away in a battle that is going badly. I noticed that in Brads vids the AI can have the enemy do it. If this is true, we should have the same option to retreat in shame but live to fight again. [e digicons][/e]
My favorite system by far. It launched with a fantastic Sonic game. When the PS2 came out, I think it was the Today show or maybe another talky show, was bragging about it being the most advanced so far. The showed some in game video and the host were going wow that is amazing. I almost fell out of my chair. There was the DC game of Sonic with the killer whale smashing the board walk while chasing him. DC you never got the respect that you deserved.

As of 1.07, most major issues have been resolved and the game is really fun. If the game had Sid Meier's name on the box, it would be pulling 8's easily. If it had Sid Meier's name on it, it wouldn't be this buggy. It still crashes for many people and a lot of things aren't working correctly. Pull off

Unfortunately that is the state of forums today--I believe the term venomous was used on PC Gamer in a podcast. However I have noticed that some of the negative ones are claiming that they are asking for refunds and HOPEFULLY will be leaving the forums. Stardock forums are noted for having more mature and serious players. I support the poster and looking forward to discussing the game and its future. Cheers to all who are here to play the game without the whine. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Brad and all, you also have my support. I have and will be with Stardock for the deep games and their business attitude towards their customer. For me the game is not broken, but instead still has a way to go to reach its potential. Patch 1.07 has gone a considerable distance to fix some major problems, such as slow down, for me. I for one will not be asking for refund and will be keeping my Limited Editions. I am looking forward to the September update and what you bring in the future.
I for one agree with this policy. I worked in a game store part time for a while and people would come in, mostly teenage boys, and brag about how they do not pay for PC games--just pirate them. The results, PC game sales are down because of the user is being stuck with awful protection software that mucks up there machines. My feeling is that these people do not buy anyway, not it they can steal, and that StarDocks approach on behalf of the legetimate user needs to be applauded here. <br
56 here. And I have the greying beard plus grown kids to prove it. Stay young at heart, play good PC games.
In my case, as soon as I read your views on game design and your intent of distributing, I immediately, read same day, went to my Gamestop and purchased it. I fully support your efforts and have put my money where my mouth is. I personally feel that the future of PC gaming is actually in this direction: small developers creating excellent games at reasonable cost with the gamer in mind. Again thank you. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Congrats.gif" b
