Good to know, Thanks very much for the answer TCores. :) I'm hoping that now is a good time with Beta 1 seeming to be wrapping up shortly, that perhaps Beta 2 will accept a few more people into the mix. :)

Hey there guys, First off: Elemental is a definite purchase for me at some point, whether now, later, or post release... But! Inquiring minds wish to know, if I were to pre-order now, while beta access is currently closed off (from what I understand on the pre-order page), would a key be sent through later when it is available? Or would I be better off pre-ordering when beta opens again? I'm very keen to get my eyes bleedin' and seeing what I can input
More options are always a grand thing. The domination timer is a grand idea. As is the Battlefield-esque idea of player tickets depleting on various triggers, be it again domination, or ship loss, etc. Perhaps could have an adjustable ticket amount pregame, so could set short and quick 500 pt matches or more epic 50k matches. Frigates worth 1 point, cruisers 2-4, cap ships 10, structures 5-10, flagship 50, asteroids 50, planets 100. (As an example) The thing with domination is that it
Options are good. I've seen several good ideas here, and I don't think they need be one over another. The two that stand out in memory from reading the thread are: 1) Homeworld based Defeat. Great idea. Please, let us have this as a toggle before game begins whether we use this method, or go for the current 'total annihilation' method. 2) Timer to Recap a Planet or Lose. Another great idea. Let us again toggle it on or off pre-game, and if toggled on, give
Can't wait for a full battle up date, I'm glad to see some clan activity with the game and hope it continues and builds. :)
They have been said already, but the two quick fixes I'd most like to see: 1) Diplomacy: Give an option to start games at a neutral or near neutral rating. Granted the lore says all these factions are against one another, but until the diplomacy system can be reworked in more depth, this would certainly alleviate some of the immediate problems. If there is time and ability in time for this patch, perhaps also look at the fact that your allies may also ally with your enemy.<br/
I feel that it would be something of a mistake to view the results of the poll representative of all players of the game, let alone all *potential* players of the game. This is mostly only a subset of that whole, showing simply what 'Players of the Game who also visit the website' want. Those primarily interested in MP aspects have likely been turned off by the game already. I was. I heard whispers of potential MP talk around the place for GalCiv2, and that perked my inter
Not only would I personally buy a MultiPlayer expansion pack, it would cause me - and a few I know - to buy the game itself. The *only* reason I've held back this long, is the lack of multiplayer. I recently got into the demo despite this, and have enjoyed playing around with the game. It has a lot going for it. But beyond even this, I <3 the philosophies of these devs, their obvious dedication to their fan base, the level of information they present. They are a model that
