Well, all theories have their merits. Some have more support than others, but we can not exclude those that dont. I personally doubt its truths, but i still wonder what kind of luck made us(as a species) be who we are.
Oh the High Command is not alone, it seems that the Galactic Empire is the most lively Empire currently out there. Have you seen their recruitment thread? You can tell that it is a great community just from that. Hopefully we can join the fun, just a few more Emps left to go to be in the top 5. Shame that one of them is the Fleet.
We cant really do anything without Stardocks support. Well have to petition to them for improvements. For the time being we can come up with many things. Better medals and representation being one of them. I think that a player should not be forced to play this way, to get a certain medal or acceptance into a certain type of empire. I think that whatever style of gameplay they choose should be rewarded.

The EU has a very potent economic and industrial power, they are however disorgainzed. Their laws can be as easily disobeyed as those of the UN. However, dont disregard them completly.
I think they will be forced to, with technology starting to advance at such rates no one government would be able to hold itself together. In my opinion well be pushed together out of need, rather than want.

Its guess it is kind of sad that the besides only a few empires the rest have been discouraged. I mean i play for fun, at first i cared about score and rank, and then i reliesed that theres so much more. Well, those regions will be better off that way. I mean with all those resources being shared everything should prosper. Hopefully the politicians arent stupid enough to mess it up by competing over land and such. This will probably eventually happen because already the strong nationalism in many parts of the world are receeding soon enough people will ally within a region for the benifit of everyone(and because cultural diffrences will be smaller). The game is very compatible with the person who plays it(from what i heard). It gives you a lot of choice to how much control the AI should have for the management of your empire. Now, we all know that the AI(no matter how good) always does strange thigs, so some times you will have to do some excesive microing(hopefully not a lot) but i dont think it will be a problem.
