I found Harpo's converter and was able to change the files into something I could edit. My head hurts. [e digicons][/e]

Hello. I know there are threads on this topic, but they all are vague on how to do this. I am not a modder. Much of what is said in them is foreign to me. I enjoy slow, long drawn out games, but the constant bombardment of superweapons gets annoying and I'd like to know how to disable them. The best solution I've seen is to make the tech requiremnts 99. But I have no idea how. Please help.
Awesome! Thank you so very much, it works perfectly now.
I cannot make this work and I admit I'm an amature. I extracted it into the folder mentioned, but all it extracts are six other folders, which when I log in I can "enable" but nothing happens. I tried creating a folder named "Dynamic" within the mod folder where I'm suppose to extract it since others seem to have their own folder, but when I do that I suddenly have no textures, they all become transulcent, see through. Help. :-)
Okay, I hereby nominate you as the smartest person in the universe!!! Thank you so very much!!
Hello. I posted in bug-reports, but I'm not sure it's a bug so sorry for the re-post. I've downloaded a custom logo, but when I download the game data from one computer to another, and load the game I was playing on the first machine, it comes up with no logo at all. When you scroll back to the tactical map, all the other races show their logo's, but my planets are blank, can't really tell where they are without the logo's. I have the same custom set saved on ea
Hello. I'm having a problem with custom logo's I've download. I've put them in my logo folder, and they appear when I start a game. Fully usable at that time. I'm not sure if anyone has encounted this. I play the game on two different computers. For medical reasons, once I'm in bed for the night (need help getting there) I'm there until morning. So I play the game on my desk top during the day and installed it on a lap-top to play once I'm in bed, until I feel like actually sleeping.
