jpinard - I believe you will find that this is geared toward the altmeta and the official meta too. I believe the idea is to bring more awareness to the GCII player of the benefits that the metaverse provides by creating incentives through medals / rankings and the like whick are more 'realistic' than the official meta scores .Another aim may be to bring attention to the Empires and the merits of joining one ,and indeed promoting the smaller empires.
