Well, more RAM would be nice, but its an old P4, so it only takes RDRAM, which is expensive and has to be installed in similarly sized pairs... I'm definitely buying a new computer before I upgrade the RAM on this one, heh. Thanks for the tip about the sound driver, though. It'd be nice if I got a warning about that similar to the one about the video driver... just a thought.

Crash in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Just got the game today, upgraded to 1.2 by downloading the patch from the website and installing. I've got my colors set to 32 bit instead of 16, I just downloaded new drivers, catalyst 6.6 or something, from the ATI website. Before doing that I couldn't even start a game. Now, I can start the game, but it randomly crashes, in this case while I was looking at my homeworld screen, before I had ended my fist turn.
