im asking specifically about oak...surge vs 2k minions is laughable. is parasite egg viable? ya erubus should be easy to gank in this situation, but no one can stay in his minion swarm long enougn without getting raped to dent him.

if i dont get both hats, i run out of mana very quickly....i tend to do alot of penitence harassing to take his life down significantly before i run in to melee to ensure a win, its very mana intensive.

dvorak, i think youve hit my problem right on the head (going hybrid). i will try more points in divine justice...the reason ive been leaving it out is i didnt think ranks beyond lvl 1 gave you the bang for your buck. Could any other oaks comment on this? Could any other successful assassins share what they put their skill points into past shield/pen/surge? why do you say not to get the lifesteal ring? i would think an assassin oak would benefit greatly from it.&nb

freshpyro ill have to respectfully disagree, and agree with chrome. your first point, chrome is just pointing out that the object, above killing other dg's , is staying alive which in my opinion is absolutely correct. but ya no doubt killing a DG is greatly advantageous. not exactly sure what your point is on the lanes. if you "control" a lane you are getting the creeps while denying your opponent, as your creeps are

tarranon. if youre playing minion heavy, then go with monks (well , go with monks with any build theyre just sick) and go with minion enhancing items likt the haulberk and the gloves of del fur, as well as ring of divine might favor item. You will need some mana helms but no youre not very equip intensive.

Need help with my lategame oak in Demigod Demigod Forums

My build - i play the assassin type till lvl 11 (pen/shield/surge). Once those are maxxed i start taking raise dead and a rank of soul power. I hit my power band around level 7-12 once i get some mana helms, but then peter off around 14 as other DG's start to catch up. Something is wrong with my itemization or my skill points after lvl 12. This is obviously not how oak is supposed to operate, so Id like your opinion. Item order</

"All demigods except Queen of Thorns is playable. She's the only one that sucks that I have noticed in Demigod. i would recommend doing what I did, and play a few matches vs the AI as each demigod. Then when you step into pantheon, while you are still subpar you at least have a general idea of whats going on. I myself got roflstomped my first 25 games online. Against the comp you can find which DG fits your style most in a relatively safe environ. Also I recommend using the same DG for extended periods.
