You can use FF (or most any other browser) to read them in the meantime. But yeah MSWord is notorious for posting bad html that IE chokes on.

As far as 2013 that seems to have been predicted by one group headed by Professor Wieslaw Maslowski who isn't someone that I've ever heard of before. The key criteria of a war that makes it a civil war is that it is between two opposing goups of citizens of the same country. As far as which side is the usurper it is always the loser since the winner writes the history books. If you drive around in the US south it's pretty clear that many people are still fighting the Civil War or as they call it the War of Northern Aggression.
