After seeing the video, I have the (maybe wrong) idea that we are getting carriers and spacefighters (and more) in game. I'd like to think that after working with Ironclad, they got some nice ideas about stuff for our GalCiv III fleets. In GalCiv II i'd build smaller fighters to go along capital ships for easy extra power and laser fodder. But they weren't really needed so anything that improves it, like the dieas of the OP, is good to me.

The events were nice but the options/consequences could be improved. More than just % bonuses. Otehrwise, I liked them. I don't think that there should be techs unlocked based on aligment at all. Except maybe some buildings. I'd prefer that you unlock all the stuff researching but that some of that stuff have an impact in how you are view by everybody... if you actually use it. Some techs would be tagged as "evil" and others as "good", the rest (most of them) being "neutral".

Not sure why that little details is not mentioned in the F.A.Q. as we know that they can get updated when needed.
Hello, I was wondering if there will be an actual interactive, strategic planetary ground invasion?. I think a global strategic battle like in fallen enchantress or the Civilization games would be interesting, but instead of a battle in a section of the world map, it would be over viewing the entire planet map, just my idea.
The thing is, planetary assaults are planetary scale, not just some skirmish. Not really sure how that would work.
GC2's espionage system was more like an afterthought
I don't think that it was a huge priority like other stuff but at least, they worked on it. It started weak and got better with expansions. It would be nice to get a decent espionage system from the very beginning, integrated with your military, research or diplomatic activities.

Long time ago, Frogboy himself talked about some hypotetical presence of characters (Heroes) in GalCiv III. Not a promise but an idea. Since then, I have never been able to forget that. I did forget where I read it though. Anyway, I bought MoO 1 and 2 long ago in GoG and enjoyed them (mostly 2). And while I haven't played them in a very long time, I do remember being able to hire characters that I could then send to planets for some bonuses or using them in my fleets for similar r

GalCiv II is one of my favourite games ever. And basically, the team that made I and II is doing the III. Right now the only thing to think about for me is: do I go to Win7 64 or to Win8 64? I'm quite happy with my Win7 32 but I suppose that GalCiv III is as good as any other reason to "upgrade".

Champions/Sovereigns seem to use Faction crest to tell you their race. Considering that each faction has a different race, that would seem the best option but I would prefer races having a different "crest" than that of the factions (think of poor custom factions and such). Nice touch anyway. Similar idea for faction in addition to race? Mangar = (slang) Steal.

People only wants MoO II remake that is exactly like it plus newer graphics. So just gather some talented people (to create a clone free of lawsuits), create indie studio and hit Kickstarter. Or just offer cheap preorders like Xenonauts.

My resolution has trouble handling it in late game. Modding new stuff up there (new mana types and/or mounts and/or whatever) makes the problem to appear sooner. :/ The tactical battle screen could use getting rid of the mana bar and in its place put all the mana shards you control and the mana amount you have (possible, being nice and make new "mana types" to automatically appear there too, much like it happens in the strategic map). Or maybe that info could appear under the bar with
