[0.806][Bug/Interface] Custom Faction creation unavailable? in WOM BETA Builds Elemental Forums

Just installed the update to 3A and went to start a new game. I noticed that the custom faction option is no longer where it was before (was it moved). Picture shows what I see.

That sounds good enough! I was just worried that there'd just be a set of crests and no mixing/matching going on. Hadn't considered the modding tools.

Just a small suggestion, but it'd be nice if we could select the background and the foreground separately. It'd create a much larger variety of crests.

About the barely mentioned Empire = green grass thing, it does appear to be because of it being a custom empire as a game made with a pre-made Empire does not have that problem.

So I guess the only remaing question that stops me from purchasing is does an archived backup expire? If I've got the CD-burnt archive & an old Impulse installer can I still install the game from the archive years after Stardock shuts down their servers?

Ha, I was actually about to start a topic just like this. I have a few extra questions though: 1. Will there ever be a boxed release of the Expansion Bundle or even the complete collection in the US(at least in less than a year)? 2. Is there a way to create a setup disc from the digitial purchase that mimics a retail disc (install/reinstall/uninstall) in such a way that you'd have practically the same thing as a retail disc minus neat-o box, manual & e
