Zoomba, you just took the words right out of my mouth. It seems like no-one wants to hear a rational opinion of this subject, which is why these "experts" don't get anything accoplished except whipping up hysteria. BTW, Jack Thompsan once compared the president of the ESA to OSAMA BIN LADEN. I'm not kidding.

I have a custom race that has just settled into its new planet, but has discovered its ancient antagonist is spreading across the galaxy. Since they're new to space, I'd like their ships to have a pieced-together look, as if they were hastily built. Thanks in advance. :)
What the hell is a 'Pulse Cannon'? Or a 'Seeker Missile'. Never heard of a missile with only 1 attack. I guess it has to be quite small space-wise to compete with the Stinger(which, incidentally, was invented by the Yor ).
The 'Seeker Missile' is an Iconian-exclusive tech. It's inexpensive, (for a missile), but it takes up a

No matter how big and bad a ship is, it goes down pretty quick when you target it's reactor and blow it up. Thus, the Draginol should be no problem.

Hey all, what's up? :) i'm psyched about TA's editors, and Im wondering has any ideas for them. Here's what I plan to make: In Returning Nightmare, the player assumes the role of the Altarians, who are swamped by swarms of Drath refugees seeking refuge from the Korath onslaught. A rouge Drath scientists named Tal'on is discovered to be building some sort of superweapon, and a task force is dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival, they discover that Tal'on is trying to open a port

I'll give 75% to a custom race of mine, the N'tal Empire. They have a HUGE research bonus, and the speed atribute makes having ion drive as a starting tech all the sweeter. Not to mention, Super Hive means I can fill my planets with factories and labs. 10% goes to the Terrans, for two reasons. First, the afromentioned diplomacy bonus is great for non-warmongers like me, and second, their base hulls are the easiest to make custom ships out of. (To me.) The remaining 15% percent

"The Thalans are the most interesting civilization in the game. If you get Twilight, you absolutely must spend some quality time with the Thalans (especially since they're going to be a major factor in GalCiv III someday). They have significant unique tech trees that depend on your choice of good, neutral or evil (i.e. xeno ethics is really important with them). It also means that a lot of their techs won't show up by default on the tech tree until after you pick a ethical path." Mayb

To mix things up, this one's from a Tee Vee show. Right at the end of the Enterprise episode In a Mirror, Darkly, when Hoshi proclaims herself Empress. That grin is deliciously evil.
