Offline Update in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I have recently bought Gal Civ2 from "Game" and have downloaded the update at work as I do not have an internet connection at home. How do I update my game it is asking for my email address and activation code, but obviously i can not connect to the server at home. I realise I need a .sig file but am not sure how to get it. Please can someone help.
