I've been a longtime player of RTS and 4X and I've never cared much at all about Multiplayer. I have almost never done it. And single player random maps aren't that interesting.I've enjoyed Sins of a Solar Empire a greatly but it ultimatley has only limited milage because with no story, I don't get a clear view of the universe of why I'm doing the things I am.To say tha we should make up our own in the game's story is a little silly because If I wanted to make up a story I could do that witho
I purchased Dread Lords in North America years ago, and have been looking for the expansions ever since but don't have a credit card. Now I have the opportunity to purchase Endless Universe. Does the fact that I have two different versions cause any issues. Presumably the fact that they can't combine makes it that I can't use my saved games from one to the other. Would I have been able to do this if purchased the others from via download somehow? I can't remember, If that was the case, Is the
When I attempt to update the game, the collectors edition is something that is unhelpful to me if I attempt download it right? Seeing as I didn't buy the collectors edition in the store. What happens if I enter my serial number but click on a Collectors edition links for all thire various content?
I've only played the regular Galactic Civilizations 2 game, but I have a few ideas. An single immensely powerful alien ship arrives from the unknown and attacks empires randomly, and it demands some sort of payment to stave off attacks. A large mercenary army arrives and offers itself for hire to the largest bidder. A radical religious insurection arises in your (or any) empire, reducing the public opinion of all planets and eventually, taking over planets and ships.<b
I was going through the Customization screen of some of the races in the new game selection screen. I changed some of the Terran Ships to have a bit of red. Is there any way to return it to defaults colors? I changed a bunch of things and i'm not sure if i like them all.
you can't do this with minor races can you? so is there no other way to learn about them?
Thanks, that sounds simple enough. It should fix a lot of my problems. But how would I go about doing that? Other than the Nvidia website, i have no idea where to search for. man do i feel stupid...
The other thing i've noticed is that some of the event videos like colonizing planets or meeting anomalies is also choppy. So i figured i'd need to try updating my video card. The Problem is i'm not the most knowledable about exactly what to search for. I looked through some FAQ's i could find. "ATI 9800 Pro" is this something i can go and download or is it something innert in the computer. In the past when updating, i sorta bumbled around wh

When i started playing Gal Civ 2 it gave me a message that my video cards MIGHT not be advanced enough. But when it began the opening cinematic played fine, so did the opening campaign. and when i start a new game it seems to work fine too. But when i click on the tutorial part, the voice spekaing to me is messed up. It keeps stopping and starting again. ITs extremely hard to try and listen too. Anyone know why?
