@Neil: When I am not using dual monitors I get Aero just fine; with it enabled it doesn't work. So even with WB if the hardware does not support it, it doesnt work? Would I want to purchase WB under those circumstances?

I have windows 7 ultimate x64. I am running dual monitors and as such cannot run aero. I installed WindowBlinds7 thinking that I could get around that but cannot. Transparency does not work for any theme in WB. What am I doing wrong? I have been battling the "on resume display welcome screen" issue for some time now. I have discovered how to get the welcome screen to be displayed when resuming from a screen saver. There must be another account created on the machine. Create another account (limited or otherwise) and you will have the option to have the welcome screen displayed. This is particularly annoying since this is a laptop and I am the only user.

What would it take to make objectdock run as a service. Is there something that I can do on my side to make it run in the background, like windowblinds?
