No, I had considered that, I am sorry I did not make that clear. Yes, I have considered working with the Arcean empire to eradicate everyone. But, the Altarians throw that idea out the window, though they are weaker in almost every other respect than Arcean, they have managed to keep there ships up todate, and able to kick some butt, though not fully eradicate the economicly superior Arcean fleet. If I fought the Alterians, I'd have 7 other nations at war (well, 6 minus Thalans) with me. The

yeah, i give minor races planets sometimes. The only danger with that is, if they are invaded(usually they never are, there soldier raiting is usually high)

I never mess with the xml code for this reason. Can't mess something up by 'randomly' coding, and then blame the developers. I have this problem very rarely.

Na, i don't even bother. I just make sure the war stays in there front yard, leaving my population to grow, and production free of any danger. Otherwise, its anywhere from topsytervy to good game.
