I like those idea's but i think it is unlikely it will happen due to shapes of ships etc, unless you did it as an evil genius style drag a room for size, but i think this sounds more like a ship manager style game than a galactic overlord style game, and your upgrades how ever good they may be are focusing on a secondary feature of the game, the game isn't about making ships its about killing alien scum.

I think i've experienced one because it did kinda mess my empire up, spy's appeared on ALL of my planets but they chose economic and production buildings so on planets that were taking 3 turns to pump out ships they were now taking 12 turns and my economy went from +103bc a week to -14bc a week and it cost a hell of alot to get rid of them all.

ah right so thats why I haven't experienced any of the waiting time between turns, it only lasts a few seconds and I thought well they over exagerated that abit, but thats only if you don't have a dual core.

I've heard all this talk about being able to adjust the CPU and all that, but im wondering will my processor be able to handle it on the top adjustment thing? i have 2x 2.13ghz CPU's

as I said in another thread that was a bad call by Stardock, they shouldn't of announced it until they were sure it was going to work, since they announced it everyone assumed well they announced it they must be able to do it, which obviously you couldn't, that was bad planning.

thats bad, I mean yeah AI is more important but it was a nifty feature that I would have loved, to be honest that was bad planning by stardock, they should have seen the time that would of been required for it and should of said in the early updates incldues and epic generator! (may be cut from the final release) they should of never said its definatley going to be in.

It is obviously possible, just look at civilization IV, i love multiplayer on that, and to get around the turns taking ages issue for multiplayer games put a time limit on the turns which you can change between fast normal and slow turns so fast being like 1 minute normal beign 3 and slow being 6 or 7. The fact is in todays worlds games cannot survive for long if they don't have a multiplayer, and also its suprising it isn't in Dark Avatar since you can't buy it at the shops and it requires a do

Since i just got the game yesterday i played it on normal and I noticed that my opponents had an Obsession with Defenders so I looked at my defenders stats and then decided to make an Anti Defender has lots of shields so the defenders weapons render usless against it and also it was armed with2 singularty drivers very effective when the enemy started raiding my outer planets which i hadnt got military to yet.

it is a good idea and it is realistic you wouldnt construct a massive battleship on a planet because the chances of it taking of if it doesnt have decnet engines are very slim so you would construct it in space.
