Kitty if you want someone to say it, I'll say it, don't go away forever, just take a break (we all need one, I took one myself a while ago), recharge your batteries, feel better about yourself and then come back when you want to, if you want to. We'll miss you till you come back, until then take care of yourself and work on making yourself happy again - in life happiness is all that's important.

Definitely an awesome skin, the link is shown above just in case the link below doesn't work. BTW, Zu, I thought this was a good idea, keep the thread going, you may get a few submissions on this. :) [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=5554&libid=1"]WWW Link[/link]

I love the green on grey look, I've been messing with a personal wb for my own consumption with that color scheme. I like the glass infront of the titlebar buttons, it's a cool idea especially with the mouseover revealing the button from behind the glass - very unique, I like it alot! Back to the sks5 & 6 issue, I don't have sks5 anymore, anyone know if it's still available as a download somewhere, I'd love to install & use it again. I have 6 and I'm just not loving it as much, maybe
You should come to the Home Depot by my house. You think YOU got it bad?! This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 600x500 and weighs 306k.
- not that the rest of the picture isn't horrible, but those jean shorts are just wrong in so many ways - hold on... some green pea soup just shot out of my mouth.... that picture just causes massive stomach upset, heck I don't even remember eating green pea soup - just h

I will say this (aside from my comment above), this discussion is very mature thus far, let's keep it going that way. :CONGRAT:
Hey! Have you guys been to Home Depot lately? You really ought to go! Sounds like you guys need a vacation!
Funny you should mention that, I just got a home depot gift cert gift from the parents of the little league soccer team that I coached this year - so I definitely have some home depot cash burning a hole in my pocket waiting for me to get off my duff and drive down to the store.
Rob, I am sorry you got in the middle of something that really had nothing to do with you. I did make a comment directed at you but in a typical online fashion, it was not heard the way it was meant. In the midst of insulting someone else I insulted you and I am sorry for that. I live by the rule that you need to choose your battles. It was thought out and not reactionary. I chose to make a stink in this case because alot of people were thinking it but were hesitant to speak out. So, I ap
the personal attacks need to stop
You are correct, the personal attacks need to stop. Snidely if you feel I'm attacking NT, I apologize to you and then also to him. Seriously NT, I do apologize to you if you feel what I wrote is hurtful. I don't hate you, never did, always respected and still do your incredible skinning ability because you do have serious skinning skills but I've always felt a sting in your words against me & other users - maybe it's your way
One thing I have received from all of this is that I (personally) as a skinner ought to work like a master, whether I ever receive that position/title or not. As I see it, it is not just the artistry or the creativity that is great, but also the work involved. This thread has been an invaluable help to my skinning mentality!
You can definitely derive inspiration from a master's work, the skinning ability of the masters on this site is incredible, something to definitely ai
I remember someone making a stink because a skinner used a highlight technique that another skinner used. A little extreme on the pickiness but in actuality, that highlight was intellectual property. A lawyer could make a case of it.
- What lawyer in his right mind would bother making any case about that, I just don't see it happening. A highlight technique is just that, a highlight technique. If I throw a football in the exact same way as Dan Marino or kick a soccer ball t

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the GUIO? Are you referring to the GUI Olympics? I did a search on google and came up with "growing up is optional" FYI - On a more serious note... Public executions are not effective unless the effect you are trying to acheive is instilling fear in others. - That doesn't seem like fun to me. :NOTSURE:
In my opinion, skinning have two sides, the quality and the fun, you need booth to notbecome a machine, it's all about balance the things.I've seen some people getting madcommenting peoples skins when they don't like 'em and you know, it's easier trash thangive a constructive advice (sometimes they can get you wrong and take the advice as a punch)One thing we can't forget is the freedom to create and upload what we like/want, of courseyou will not like everything for one reason of another

https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=6146&libid=1 I always have problems inserting links into these comments so I'll just include the url above, copy & paste if you want to check it out. It's my captain america wb and it was one of the funnest projects I've worked on. I took a photo of an american flag and made my light blue windowframes semi-transparent in fireworks (macromedia fireworks) and placed my windowframes on top of it and I got a pretty cool effect with

a chocolate keyboard is cool but after a long day at the office, my fingers would be brown and my keyboard would be totally messed up & melted from use. One consolation is that a few of the function keys that I never use would be happily digested.
