Sorry for the delayed reply, yeah I am dragging directly from firefox to the dock. If I drag first to the desktop then the dock. I do get an icon. However, what I want to do is drag directly from firefox to the dock. Is there anyway to get that working? Thanks!

When I drag firefox shortcuts from firefox to a dock, a shortcut is created but with no icon. How do I tell Objectdock to use a certain icon for all *.url files? Thanks!

Thanks Zubaz! I will give it a shot. I think I may have also found another way to go about it using the folder selector docklet. I have to give it a try tonight.

Thanks Zubaz! Yeah, I gave objectbar a try before objectdock. It did seem to be a bit more system customizable but I just didn't like it, for no particular reason though. Just didn't fit with what I wanted to do with my desktop, I guess. However, I actually really like objectdock. Well, I am stil new to it maybe I can find a way to do what I want via other methods or something. There's alot in here I haven't messed with yet (like, for example, I am not really sure what you ment in your second po

First, I hope this is the right place to post. There is an object bar forum under object desktop but I don't have objectbar I have object dock so this looked like a better place to post.
