I'm having a little trouble making my character in Metaverse GalCiv2 Forums

well to be precise I can't figure out a name for my character and when I try something like Alpha omni or something like that it pops up an error saying either the name is taken or that I can only use alphanumeric,-,_,symbols in my name which I made sure I did so I need help naming my first character I just registered several minutes ago so I'd be glad if someone could help.
