lol, Yeah, I was still having problems so I uninstalled the game and then deleted all my folders pertaining to it, reinstalled and started over. I do have better luck now (and the game is alot more fun), some kind of glitch or bad mod pack or somthing? And alot of what you all have said makes sense now. I'd have to agree on the smaller ships. The huge hulled behemoths I tricked out either A. took too long to build so I hated to lose them so quick in battles, (they last a little longer now whew!)

Here's a good example of what I just fought. He had ONE ship (pirate hvy fighter), 10 hp, 1 attack (laser), NO sheilds. I had 3 defenders, 11 hp per ship, 1 attack (missle), no sheilds. I should have won right. No dice. The fight was over in 4 rounds again, He killed my fist ship with one shot, dmg'd my second ship in the 2nd round, killed the damg'd ship in the third round and then killed my last ship in the fourth round. He had 2 hp left on his ship when the battle was over! It was like my mi

Also, I have never, not once, fought an ememy fighter hoard without casualty, even with precurser rangers ect, yes I have tried matching some small tricked out ships with some big ones, still get whupped by the fighter hoards, Help please!

What the...... What game are you guys playing? The enemy ships ALWAYS destroy mine. Dosn't matter the config, tried everything. For example I had a planet with all the goodies, All ships dble hp, ships in orbit fight w/logisticts points instead of one ship at a time, ect. plus I had full orbit of corvettes. Got attacked by a hvy fighter, dreadnought and somthing else, count that - it's only three ships and It took me 12!! rounds to beat them, (and I was buying ships every round so it would add
