Biden says partition it, does he really know what he is talking about? i doubt it. That's the same thing former Secretary of State Jim Baker proposed, but I guess he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I'm all for conservative government. What we have now is the most radical government in at least a century because there are no checks and balances, since the GOP controls all the branches of our government. Other than the politically motivated impeachment of Clinton, the politics of the second half of the 90s were extremely conservative because we had oversight. We had welfare reform, a restrained foreign policy, and budget surpluses. (All the talking points have already ballyhooed ab

I use it as a multi-track recorder on Linux. I have drum machine software. Usually I have a drum track, bass, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and vocals. I'm a one man band!

Well, MM... I'm going to have to disagree with you again. This big issue in this election is Iraq. Liberman has been part of the "rubber stamp" congress, of which the democrats are running against, and that's why he lost the support of the DNC. This is what he said about a year ago: "It is time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be Commander-in-Chief for three more critical years, and that in matters of war we undermine Presidential credibilit

have you been paying attention to the tremendous RISE in tuition? affordable has become a thing of the past. Most get financial aid or grants, the lucky ones get scholarships. While I agree that the left does a little more for students, I think it is for the wrong reasons. There has been a tremendous rise in tuition because state funding has not kept

and this is fair on what planet? I am agreeing witrh you BTW... this unfair practice which in many cases takes away from good students is ALSO a democrat gift. {sarcasm} Yeah, you're right. It's not fair. And it does more harm than good because it promotes the “victim” mentality among minorities. Still, there is typically more financial aid avail

It is because of the unwillingnes to fail students that deserve failure.. we reward failure now with passing grades for morons who cannot even read at a fifth grade level. Agreed, the left holds a lot of responsibility for the "dumbing down" of our schools, especially back in the rampant political correctness of the 80s and early 90s. Remember "ebonic

good saying, I believe the right wants to teach them to fish while the left wants them to have free fish, so they are forever indebted to them. "Learning to fish" could be a metaphor for education, and the left has done far more to provide the opportunity to get an education. That being said, there is a lot of evidence that things like affirm

Along the way though, as I've noted in prior articles, the GOP and the so-called Bush tax-cuts have had our economy on a roll. We continue to bring in more revenue than expected, and we are narrowing the budget deficits without having raised taxes, and in fact, BECAUSE we had cut taxes, rather than raising them. The economy is on somewhat of a roll,

Perhaps because their cynical friends on the Democrat side of the aisle blocked the increase in the minimum wage because it was attached/paired with an extension of tax-cuts That's a big problem with the way congress is run. The minimum wage has nothing to do with extending the tax cuts. I for one am against both. Why should a little town in Kan

First of all, it says on Stabenow's Web site that there have already been two debates. Second, if Bouchard isn't competent enough to put together a decent Web site, how can he be expected to be competent in the senate? His only experience, as far as I can tell, is enforcing existing laws. Writing laws takes a little more ability. Stabenow seems like a decent senator from what I've read about her.

5 would be up to the people of Iraq. We did not liberate them from Hussein to tell them what to do with their country. Some mistakenly call the current government a "puppet" of the US. but time and time again they have shown that they are willing to go against what the US government would have them do. So, while it's an option, it's not ours to choose. </t

I do not believe it is our responsability to create 3 new countries out of 1. I do not believe it is our right to do so either, who are we to take away what so many Iraqi people have lived and died for to call home? It seems that James Baker agrees with me. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-Tab

As far as I can tell, these are our viable options: 1. Stay the course 2. Pull out and let the Iraqis deal with it. 3. Re-deploy to neighboring countries and only step back in if things get out of hand 4. Flood the country with military forces and overwhelm the insurgency 5. Divide Iraq up into three separate countries. There are pros
