Hi.. I had been using WB 3.3x on Windows Me. I recently upgraded (clean install) to XP, and would like to reinstall WB. My question is should I install from original (purchased) program disk 3.0 then DL latest 3.41 version update...or can I just DL 3.41 and start from there? Thanks!
I don't have Photoshop ...but I do have Paintshop Pro 7...have to start somewhere. I checked out the Microangelo site...but it did not have any screenshots of the program's UI *sigh* At least Icon Workshop has a decent online tutorial. Thanks for the input everyone...

I found out that if your 'puter crashes to the point where it won't turn off...rather than unplugging it from behind...just press and hold the power button for 5+ seconds until the system shuts down. One of the things I learned using Win ME...

I recently downloaded Trillian, and noticed that it offered skinnable interface as well. I am fairly new to WB and the whole skinning concept. I think that Windows customization is on the rise, though slowly. True, that XP is bringing to light the customization technology...but there are still quite a few users out there that do not have/use XP, me being one of them. But I think that, for the most part, the awareness of it is increasing. And with the talent that has been producing skins

I've had a desktop wallpaper that was 'hiding' in the background, behind my current wallpaper, for quite some time. It was downloaded a long time ago (from Exile game site)..and I've since been using other wallpapers. Problem: I now have WB3.3i I decided to 'uninstall' the Exile desktop wallpaper, using its uninstall feature...and now the Skins tab on my desktop Properties is gone! I tried to go to WB via the start menu, but it only refers me (takes me to) the Properties window again.
