[quote who="Mirsguy" reply="34" id="2578938"][Tabs] Custom +/- images do not seem to work. Is there a way to close or exit the dock without "unloading" OD+? previous version had right-click and select "exit". Edit: Nevermind (again [e digicons]:P[/e] )...indeed, unloading = exit/close!
hm, can't seem to edit my previous post, but here's what I tried to say... Edit: Nevermind....I used Impulse to uninstall v1.9, then went into Registration and entered my new serial # for v2...had to scroll down the list a bit to find v2 and installed it from there, then clicked "Run" in the bottom right corner. Works fine now, even managed to keep my previous dock skin and icons intact. So it worked after all... lol
I'm having the same problem. I received the email, had to download and install Impulse. I made sure to check the "show pre-release versions" and restarted Impulse. I had ObjectDock Plus 1.9 installed, and tried (unsuccessfully) to uninstall it before Impulse, but that didn't work. Anyway, Impulse detected ODP 1.9, when I clicked on Update, it only downloaded 1.9 again. Edit: Nevermind....I used Impulse to uninstall v1.9, then went into Registration and entered my new serial # f
Stopped updating again. [e digicons]
Ok, I've done that before, when the days were messed up...didn't think to try it for this. Thanks for the tip. And it worked! [e digicons][/e]
I'm running ObjectDock Plus (1.90 build 535u), and it seems for the last several days the weather docklet won't update. I have it set to launch automatically when I boot up my system, and it grabs the latest weather and temperature, but then it won't changer after that. I have tried (many times) to right click and Update, but it won't even say "Updating" like it used to. I removed the docklet from the dock and re-added it, typed in my zip code and hit Update...but it's still giving me the inc
[quote who="GoaFan77" reply="9" id="2470820"] Size isn't a huge factor, but obviously the smaller the better. I'd like at least 8 GB of memory, more is obviously better, but I don't want it to factor into price too much ($120 at most). I'm comming from a Creative Zen V Plus, but I don't think the menu system matters to much. I'll need the player to play MP3s, WMAs, and WAVs, either by default or with software upgrades. And I don't really need video or any other non music features, so tha
Since this is a new computer, I do not (yet) have any Windowblinds installed. On my previous system (about a month ago), which had both ODock and Windowblinds installed, I did not have this problem.
That's interesting, that you've narrowed it down to Object Dock, because I am having the same annoying problem with my new computer running Windows 7....and I am also running Object Dock Plus. I tried various things to make it open in front of Windows Explorer, no luck. I have Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I would really be interested in a solution as, like you guys, I use Windows Explorer/Photo Viewer to browse my images & photos. [e digicons]:\[/e] Also, how does one subscribe to
Thanks Mark for the suggestions! I was searchng online for the specs of the 213T, came across that model (still for sale) through Amazon. There was a link to the pdf manual, so I opened it and read through it. I *just* figured out the problem and fixed it! I opened the pdf manual for the monitor, which had a Troubleshoot table. First thing on the list was "No images on the screen.", the checklist for that included "Can you see "No Connection, Check Signal Cable" on the screen?" and on
Thanks guys, I'll try swapping the cables tomorrow and report back. I appreciate the help!
Here's a screenshot of the nVidia control panel...it looks like it is set up as dual monitors. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v99/amadams/monitors.jpg
Thanks for the quick reply! The DVI cable is the same one I was using with that monitor just a week ago, before I got my new system. But I suppose it could have gone bad during the switch. I didn't touch the monitor end of the cable, left it plugged in there, and only unscrewed/unplugged the computer end. I could check with Radio Shack to see if they have those...we don't have much for tech stores here. oops sorry, missed the other reply! The secondary monitor (21") is set to 16
I had been using a Samsung SyncMaster 213T with my older Vista (32-bit) desktop and nVidia GeForce 7600 graphics card (DVI port) with no problems. So my old system (mobo) decided to finally die, and I got a new desktop system and a new Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM widescreen to go with. The desktop is from Dell, running i7-920 and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and nVidia GTX 260, which has two DVI ports. I hooked up the 24" monitor as the primary and the 21" as the secondary. Afte
Another, very informative, site is Paul Thurrott's Winsupersite...many detailed reviews and articles on Windows 7 and its features. [link="http://www.winsupersite.com/win7/"]Winsupersite for Windows 7[/link]
I have been a fan of Winsupersite, with Paul Thurott, and used to listen to his Windows Weekly podcast, but streamed from online. I recently bought a Zune HD, and have been downloading it through Zune software onto my Zune. I'm still trying to figure out the software, and the podcast subscription thing. But I really enjoy listening to it once a week. I see they (twit.tv) have some others I might try. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Very nice...I'm liking it a lot! :CONGRAT:
ah, thanks for the info ID...I will try to remember that for next time.
I purchased this and am trying to get it via Impulse, but I don't see it listed on the "Add Registration" drop down list. edit: nevermind...I downloaded it from the confirmation email. :)
Thanks for what you do, and be safe. [e digicons][/e]
I would be willing to help test the new site. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Good to see you again Boxxi...Take care and get well soon! [e digicons]:)[/e]
I've been using my Dell Mini 9 since October. I mainly use it for work and personal travel. It's small and light weight, and Vista runs nice and smooth on it. :)
I use a MS Wireless Laser 6000 (came with keyboard), works fine for me, and batteries seem to last forever. For both my laptop and netbook, I use the same MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, which works fine for me as well.
