well....its not that I don't feel for Kzinti but...giving Team D a redraft means that a player must be moved from another team, and a different team ends up with 4 players. Unless the redraft takes the place one of the randomly selected players, which means even more moving around and also thats not really fair to the randomly selected players. I truly understand where you are coming from but it would be no different than if Motti, Mumble, or anyone else had something unforeseen come up

sorry to post right after my own post lol, but I wanted to say that another reason I like having the submission bonus is that it fosters team spirit and planning. I like the individual bonuses and the such, but I like supporting anything that fosters greater cooperation and strategic planning amongst a team. Finally, teams would have really three options going into any round, instead of two from the previous rounds. Do we focus on game speed? Do we aim for highest scores?<

Kzinti, since you still have four players you should be good to go, a little harder yes, but technically you're still on even ground with the other teams (since everything is based on averages really)....that being said, if at a later date in this round, god forbid, someone on your team is unable to submit (and makes a notice thereof), just remember to contact Neilo immediately so he can pass a ruling on what you should do. pretty much; Mumblefratz and myself had set up a point system that keeps points consistent across the board (meaning no difference in overall points from a single victory game to multiple victory games). the only thing i;ve never been able to get is how people manage to get ships with those kind of ratings; even with ultimate miniaturization and top of the line techs (tho i use Disrupt III and Posit II, i realize that the actual end techs arent as cost efficient) I've never managed to have those kind of abilities unless I have lots of military resources. all you have to do is when you start a new game, select Custom Race, then on that screen select Load Race at the bottom tool panel; your custom race should be listed.

you are very correct Doogles, and it is probably something I should have addressed better. I am going to attempt to locate the various links that are on the actual scoring, I believe either Mumblefratz, Purge, or others had made some posts/comments on what actual percentage of each submitted game is worth. The more submissions the lower the percentage of that given game. Also the diminishing after every 30days actually has a higher impact on high score games than lower score games. T
